Did not know that being a complete douche and disrespectful is nowdays considered so cool and awesome.

Kiefer never called Kojima and told him to fire David Hayter and hire him instead....

And for what is worth Kiefer did a great job and he clearly wasnt doing it because he "didnt give a shit", his stance in shows, interviews as well as the people who worked with him support that. Even the way he picked up the award showed class and respect.

Yes. If you're mad at someone be mad at Kojima. Kojima has his Hollywood boner and wanted a big actor and had the opportunity to get one. It would have been nice to have Hayter back sure but all this hate towards a man who had nothing to do with the decision baffles me.

It wasnt serious. It was disrespectful thats all. She was a douche in front of a considerable live audience , Kiefer present as well as millions of people watching from home. If it was her attempt at being funny, then it was a really lame one.

Have you ever watched an awards show? I mean, I wouldn't blame you if you haven't because they're mostly terrible, with the VGA's probably being the worst one in existence. My point being, that hosts of these shows make fun of the participants all the time. The last time I watched the Oscars was one that Billy Crystal was hosting and he tore into every actor there. Much worse than a silly little joke like this. You're acting like something racist or sexist was said.

Lunatic? Has he put anyone's life in danger? Regardless of that not being the case, how does that have anything to do with the hard work he has put in over the course of a very long career? I didn't know that you could become a well-renowned Hollywood actor simply by doing questionable things, in public, under the influence. Clearly, he doesn't work hard. That has nothing to do with why he was seen fit to replace arguably the most iconic voice in gaming.

I don't even know what you're replying to but I was joking anyway. I should have realised people in this thread don't get those types of jokes though given the reaction to Jade Raymond's one.

If she tore every actor the way Billy Crystal did it wouldnt be as shitty as it was. Its like what Southpark does, they offend everyone, so in the end, nobody is offended.

This is very different than just being douchy towards 1 person specifically. I am not saying she did something inexcusable, but it was lame. And besides my post was mostly intended towards people who Implied that Kiefer doesnt give a shit and that pretty much he deserves the treatment...

Well, that's actually a fair point. I still think he probably didn't give a shit but I wouldn't necessarily say he deserved it despite finding it funny.

I'm referring to your snide insinuation that Kiefer Sutherland somehow doesn't care about his job, because of how many drinks he's had. You'll have to point out where I mention Jade Raymond.

And you'll have to point out where I said he didn't care about his job. I only mentioned that he didn't give a shit about the joke, that's literally all I ever meant which is why I was so confused that you kept bringing up how he felt about his job...I have talked about this way too much.

I also maintain that he was a fantastic BB. He transitioned it from the go-get'em Snake Eater to the world-weary Outer Heaven leader.
