I am sure they are going to release it but there's a likely chance they just cancel it... I fear it will be heavily F2P style with micro transactions which I bet will actually go F2P after a year or two...
These are our fears and we are certain of the worse because all we hear from Konami is terrible news, what they been doing internally. I have my theories...

I've never played MGO before so it's absence isn't bothering me so much, the FOB stuff is a bit disappointing, especially regarding MB coins and spectating only.
MGO1 was the bees knees. I didn't like MGO2 at all.
Death of MGO?!? WatchatalkinaboutWillis??? Being released in October is far from being "dead", kind sir.

We are not speaking of story, we are talking about the online features, we thought they would provide more interaction or be fair and not try to sink into our wallets for micro-transactions. and if MGO will actually be a thing.

I've seen some gameplay of MGO1, it looked fun. MGO3 did too from the trailer. I've 0 expectations from it though for the time being.

In all seriousness... Where is all that negativity for MGO suddenly coming from ? Is it just because there is very little information so far or did I miss some official say anything regarding it?

IMO, MGO is dead as long as they don't show any more footage I will assume it's cancelled.

By the way, is there anything that anyone REALLY recommends doing in GZ before I start TPP? I've completed the main GZ mission, and extracted 4 POW's on my PS4. I completed a few other things but on a different PS3 save which I don't know if I can use, but I can quickly do some last minute stuff if I need to on the PS4 version if I need to.
PS, can I get a prize for being the biggest idiot in Outer-GAF? I got an email yesterday from Amazon telling me my order for TPP had been despatched... So yeah, I accidentally pre-ordered the game twice. I suck.

Congratulations on the copy mate, yeah I'd say rescue all the POW's and the guards that'll carry over. If you can't do that, then just do the main GZ mission right before starting TPP for extra immersion.

Use your empty magazines, these two on the bridge can be distracted to the right side of the bridge because there's a small slope. They walk very slowly so wait.

I don't get the mentality at all I realize we haven't had much news but assuming its cancelled seems a bit premature. The LA team has been working like crazy from what it looks like.
Run through the missions again, watch speed runs and youtube the CQC & aiming tutorials. You'll be fine.

It's a very small, minor thing. If there were to be a discussion about it he can PM me anytime he/she wants. Don't worry, we aren't assholes. If I wanted to spoil you, I could have done it a long ass time ago.
Keep getting caught even with reflex mode I guess.... Also when the alarm goes off trying to hide until alarm is off was a bit harder than previous games imo.
The main mission took me 84 minutes (it's not my first time) with 14 retries lol
I mean... not in a way that I can't beat the mission or something... just I need to do a lot of retries and can't beat it clean with low kills.

Are you playing impatient ? Just take your time, mark the enmies and take them out one buy one. No need to stress out about how long you take for the mission.

as much as i am happy for them... this posts really bum me out.
I took awhile to finish my first few times too but once you play through it more and just go in and mess around not trying to complete missions thats when you get used to things. Don't worry about enemies that spot you or alarms just practice for TPP.

yea I should... I usually play MGS games as half stealth/ half action...I just can never go full stealth since I get very impatient these days...

MGSV will require more situational awareness than before, observe and react. If nothing else works keep distracting everyone with your empty magazine, it's infinite so not much to worry there. Just like this guy.
