I am surprised they did, just going by the sheer number of people who were willing to double dip just to play for two weeks until the PC version launched, then start over on PC. Didn't know about the earnings meeting tho, if that's the case its interesting.
it's also an issue of spoilers. they seem to have done mostly everything they can to keep them on lock (bar a few dumb moves and ignoring the fact it's basically been leaked for over a week).

i just want to hear more about the graphics settings and improvements at this point.

I'm surprised I've managed to go so long without any major spoilers. I've only been hit with a few minor things which don't really bother me too much.

As far as improvements go, honestly if the only improvement is HBAO+ due to Nvidia's involvement I'd be pretty happy.

It's really not that hard actually. You can pretty much S-rank everything on hard in one sitting, just look up how to. Except classified intel acquisition and anti air emplacements, it's pretty much the same strat as S-ranking on Normal except everyone can spot you easily if you're high profile at the wrong time.

yeah, i'm doing my best to dodge spoilers too and i've gotten away with it for the most part. doesn't help that people are posting spoilers in the spoiler-free thread though.

there's definitely something improved over console with the AO in the pc screens we've seen. hopefully HBAO+. at least something that gets rid of that white halo look around some characters and objects. i don't think we'll find out until monday, or even launch at this rate.

The biggest issue I had with GZ seems to already have been fixed in TPP (Enemies just popping into view when you zoom in with your binocs) so at this point anything on top is just a bonus.

people are bringing spoilers into the non spoiler thread. watch out guys

If anything it'll be great on PC. TPP is the one of the few JP developed games which was actually with PC in mind. It's first demonstration was running on PC in realtime in fact.

whats there to ask him ?
a few things really:

. level of graphical options (tessellation pls)
. driver updates before launch (though you might be better off asking the vendors instead)
. vendor specific improvements (personally holding out for soft shadows and HBAO+)
. if there is a bench marking tool (ground zeroes is close enough to one, however)

Now expecting a launch along the same lines of arkham knight

What the hell you're talking about? 1st. Ground Zeroes was a perfect port and 2nd they brought the release 14 days forward. To me, those are very good signs that this version will be good.

Guys my Xbox one copy just arrived. Wish it was my ps4 copy but at least I get to play it :D got the steel book too. Bought it from ShopTo. Hopefully anyone else that ordered from there receives their copy today too :)

That's a pretty looking console, enjoy TPP mate.

Thanks it's good to hear! Many of the photos of the console had different color depending how the photo was taken...some were very bright red and some were dark wine-red. I personally want it to be dark-wine red like the actual promo photo...so it's good to hear it's darker than some of the photos.

Pretty disappointed that inviting friends to your FOB pretty much just works as a "Mother Base viewer" for them, meaning you can't actually hang out with them or anything. Really got used to the idea of inviting a friend to Mother Base and riding around with them while listening to music... No cooperative elements in the game is just bizarre, honestly.

starting to think this game is overhyped D:

seeing how co-op was seen in that idroid UI prototype design video and that tpp is based a lot on expanding peace walker's gameplay, i wouldn't be surprised it co-op features were once on the cards but got shelved due to time or money constraints, or simply because they couldn't get it to work right

to be honest, i always thought the buddy system evolved as a compromise of being unable to do co-op with another player.

let's be real though, the game has a lot going on for it regardless.
