as for the OT impressions it seems there's a concerted effort at anti-hype for the game with the (albeit warranted) fuck konami threads. the people who dislike the game are usually the loudest and by this point i assume there are plenty of people actually just enjoying the game and not saying anything because they're too busy playing.

kinda like because there are so many people who are enjoying so it cool to hate on the game

i think some people are legit pissed it isn't a 'cutscene every 5 minutes' affair like older mgs games, but whatever, there are definitely a few people looking to just turn the knife because... video games.

im going into this expecting it not to be the normal type of Metal Gear Solid the open world excites me so much
