I basically bought a ps4 to play this, but I'm enjoying plenty of other things from the machine as well. Plenty of folk have said the last gen versions still look very, very good though.

Not traditional boss fights, no. In Ground Zeroes, boss fights are replaced by tank battles and things of that nature. They will, however, return in The Phantom Pain. ;-)

There are cutscenes, but the major ones are only for the intro and the ending. Almost everything else is integrated into gameplay.
