Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
I don't think most games need to be overly long.
But I'll gladly make an exception for Atlus RPG's.

I’m definitely getting the game but this actually worries me.
I’m afraid to be caught off guard by a Royale, Golden, FES treatment after investing that much time. This is from someone with 400 hours playtime on P5R.
I only played the first but valkyria Chronicles was great. As someone who doesn't play nearly as many jrpgs as I used to its not overwhelming like a persona or trail of cold steelLooking forward to my first Atlus JRPG.
Then don't play it, this is for us big boys.
Yea but if they are cutting the time down to 50 hours it should also take less time to make. Reuse the assets and start # 2 right after.Games take too long to make. You may need to wait 4-5 years and only if they keep the tech same.
I mean the mats what SE kind of did with FFVII Remake, but people have been complaining about episodic nature.Yea but if they are cutting the time down to 50 hours it should also take less time to make. Reuse the assets and start # 2 right after.
Another borefest incoming.
Well I hope that you will be happy with the game.I just hope it's not another school setting set in a fantasy world

Probably because Royal is a much easier version of the original game. My file never went to 170+ but I hit close to 140 on my first playthrough of the OG. But I do a lot of grinding and velvet room stuff, so it depends. If you want to get satanael for example you have to start a second playthrough, and get a good bit into it before you can fuse him.I have no idea how one can spend 170 hours in persona 5. I got the platinum in Royal in about 110.
Hashino made P3 as well thoughYeah, I don't know about that
Playing P3 reminded me how bad P5 writing is.
To me game’s worth is not about length, it about satisfaction.Just curious- I've seen various chatter online in regards to games prices being far too high for such short games (Astro Bot being a recent example). In that being the case, can we expect this game to be worth over $300 at release? Considering it's around 5-10 times the length of Astro Bot does that mean we are happy to pay more for more content?
The day games become $300 at release is the day i stop buying games.Just curious- I've seen various chatter online in regards to games prices being far too high for such short games (Astro Bot being a recent example). My thought exactly. If I’m going to sink a minimum of 100 hours on a camping, it might as well be on a portable. Thanks I'm getting it on Steam, will let you know how it runs on my Steamdeck
Hopefully, your in for a treat. Unfortunately, thos on is rated T, so I expect it to be toned down in death, language & sexuality, but hopefully, it's got a great story & fun gameplay to carry it through!Looking forward to my first Atlus JRPG.
Seriously never heard of itTime to pre-order.
Strange how this game is keeping a very low profile.
That's what happens when you strike a marketing deal with team green.
