Almost safe when you are not talking publicly about bullshit war. Very depressing psychologically. It's like some part of your brain cannot accept what's happening but you can't do anything, especially when I live (north Siberia). Not considering that prices are very high, official media talk so much hatred and lying all the time, and all limitations with money transfers or buying something abroad. It's like 2000s all over again but with 3x times the price.
I'm about to write a big post here on Gaf but my mother is very sick (that's why I'm still here) and I need to work at the same time.
Probably worst thing is that we have a very big population that support all this shit no matter what. It's not because they know they are right - but they just CAN'T accept that they are wrong. Do you know what I mean? Just as Putin who can't accept that he lost everything and he is wrong. Russians never surrender and all this bullshit. Also people can't even think that shit can happen on such high level - if it's Putin then he is right and you need to search more info to prove it to yourself. Again - someone is wrong or need to do something but not him (or a man who thinks the same). They want to put me in jail for my opinion - and now send me to this war - we must pay for all Putin's mistakes. It's soooooo wrong on EVERY possible level that it feels like a joke, but very sadistic, bloody joke. Pure phantasmagoria.
Luckily I'm not alone with this opinion but we have lost our country - we have a 'forever' enemy right on our boarders (Ukraine), we will be forever under sanctions (because no one will return Crimea), we lost many people and kill many people, tons of very smart guys just left the country, tons have put in jails and this list goes on and on. And all of this for nothing! Just one man wanted to feel like his is so important. I can continue forever on all of that but I will stop now.
