To my great surprise, Mafia: Old Country runs flawlessly on PC. The game doesn't crash, I haven't had the honor of encountering bugs, I haven't struggled with collisions or other frame drops. The graphics are beautiful, whether it's the environment or the characters, and the game isn't afraid of details. Apart from a few texture bounces and occasional Unreal Engine 5 glitches, which didn't ruin the graphics or the game in any way, I have nothing to complain about. I've already mentioned the cinematic quality here, but I still have to specially highlight the film sequences, which I have the highest expectations of, especially after Mafia 3 in the series. In any case, they are excellently acted and filmed this time around. I didn't really notice any issues with sound in the game, which only means that it is well done. In terms of the audiovisual side, the only thing left is the soundtrack, which may not be as impressive as in previous games, but it doesn't detract from its impressiveness in the slightest. Individual themes are sensitively incorporated into the game and are ultimately more memorable than they might seem, adaptive in-game music naturally reacts to gameplay and supports the action on screen. Traditional Sicilian music then enhances the atmosphere even more.
