That's why I'm not doing Ranger mode first. Will do a full survival Ranger run later on.

It's been fine aside from that one moment. Pretty much every action is genre standard so it's not like I'm getting lost every 2 minutes. Makes the firefights really tense as well because it takes effort to know how much ammo you have left.

I had a rough I'm before it even started. It was stuttering, booted me to desktop and almost completely froze up on me before I even got to the main menu. I only played like 5 minutes because I had to go to class, but it ran smooth during actual gameplay.

I played a few hours of it last night, and I've had zero problems. Game still looks impressive. And the addition of the Metro Last Light stealth system is VERY welcomed, I think I'm really going to finally enjoy this game.

Runs a lot better than the original for me: i7 4770k, 32 GB RAM, GTX Titan. 3440x1440 res.

However, I'm disappointed at the lack of AA options, only has 0.5 SSAA (makes the IQ blurry) and 2xSSAA (incredibly demanding).,

After playing about 2 hours of 2033 Redux on PC I can safely say it's sooo much better than vanilla 2033 and that's coming from someone who is a massive fan of the original.

I prefer all the mechanics they brought over from Last Light. It dramatically improves the playability of it.

The original also ran really shitty on my system, drops from 60 to 20 to 80 etc. It was really unstable but 2033 Redux is running smooth as butter around 70fps on High at 1080p. It's pretty gorgeous.

I really like the added little sections too. Like an extra door here or there. Really impressed so far.

Old - Documents > 4A Games > Metro Redux > 110000103c52b5f
New - Documents > 4A Games > Metro 2033 > 110000103c52b5f

Just copy the old folder into the Metro 2033 folder. Why they chose to do that who knows.

The games were next gen when they came out in term sof many graphical features on the PC SKU. So much so that the nextgen versions still pale to the PC version.

Killzone shadow fall was next Gen though.

Patch seems to have reset my Ranger Hardcore playthrough, there are now icons on the screen which is weird. Probably going to have to restart.

Edit: Yeah, just picked up 60 rounds so something is up. Will have to restart but it's worth it for that patch!

I looked up a video on youtube and you're supposed to just walk straight through the train car, but in the PS4 version there is a whole bunch of spiderwebs that don't allow you to progress. Absolutely no where to go. I've tried reloading my checkpoint as well as the chapter. Are the developers aware of this?

I think you can burn them with your lighter. No idea what the key/button is though lol.

I haven't played the game yet, so I may be wrong, but aren't you supposed to burn away the webs with your lighter?
