I haven't heard anything, but Nintendo usually go for 1 or 2 days before release so likely December 2nd or 3rd.

Both DK Bananza and Kirby Air Riders had embargoes the day before release. Iirc Hyrule Warriors was 2 days before release.

I'm talking about people that I know that played the game demo at the Paris Nintendo game week back in September or October. They played prime 1-2. that's why I'm a bit concerned !

No, but Prime 1/2/3 were roughly 10-15h I think, then maybe around double if you go for the collectibles.

I'd guess this'll be in a similar territory.

Every Prime game is like 10 hours with a 120 hour fetch quest in the third act

Don't forget his friends - Soldier Man 1, Soldier Man 2, Soldier Woman and Robot.

Hopefully the others fare a lot better than him and it's all kept to a minimum because that's at least five speaking NPC characters, assuming that the robot speaks and moreso if it has a personality.

If they're flapping their gums too much (or in the wrong places), have poorly written (or performed) dialogue, or if they inject unnecessary melodrama into proceedings then that's not going to be great IMO.

GAAAH, i'm staring at a good deal on the Switch 2 but there's so few new exclusives I want to play. I'm just waiting on the reviews for this, but I worry the retailer will sell out on the deal before those drop.

I have always been considering buying a Switch 2 to play this, if the reviews were great. It would be an easier decision to make if there was more to play though that i'm interested and it seems strange and a bit disappointing that Nintendo didn't quickly get out Switch 2 enhanced versions of Metroid Dread and Prime Remastered before this arrives.

I'd be playing it primarily on a 4k TV and it sounds like Dread particularly could do with a resolution increase. I'm fine with the graphics being what they are, but i don't want a low resolution image.

Yeah, a patch to get it up to 4K, 120fps or locked 60 is what Im after.

I didn't know Enhanced editions have new content as I don't and have never had a Switch.

If I bought a Switch 2 I would be the first Nintendo console I've owned or had serious access to since the GameCube.

So it would be pretty exciting to return to Nintendo and have all the best Switch 1 games to go through.

I don't actually feel it's optimal to buy one now - would be better to wait a year or two - but I'll fucking buy one if this is amazing lol.
