Nintendo probably wants to use the supposed already completed HD re-release as an appetizer for Metroid Prime 4. It does make sense on paper, but honestly, I'd rather see it sooner than later.

Yeah, it is quite long, but pretty solid overall. I've watched it in parts as well.

If the rumors are correct, the work on the Switch version has already been done for some time. Hopefully they have done something more than just upscaling the trilogy of games. Sure, they would look fine, but an enhanced set of games is something I am genuinely hoping for.
