Metroid Samus Returns previews and New 3DS XL edition revealed

Aw, was really hoping for a special 2DSXL to go along with the game, already have a n3DS XL. This special edition does look really nice though.
Hopefully the previews are good. Probably won't watch since I'll be playing the game soon anyway, but I'm not seeing any overwhelmingly negative opinions quoted, so that's probably a good sign.

Console has been confirmed for Europe by Nintendo France.
Yeah glad they got a new chance. Lords of Shadow 1 was amazing so there is atleast some talent there at Mercury Steam.

When was the last time Nintendo released any faceplates for the regular n3ds?
Sell your copy at Ebay and buy the special edition, if you want it bad.

(which I really liked in some parts but others not so much I thought the combat while good went on far too long)

My 4U LE system sustained regular use and I took it with me anytime I traveled. Still looks new.

My thoughts exactly. N2DS is still the king.
Go with a N2DS, they're thinner than the N3DS, bigger screens and more lightweight as well.

What I find curious in the previews so far is that everyone seems to be loving the 3D, even those who generally don't use it. Such odd timing with the release of the N2DSXL.

As much as I'd love it, I still have the $99 black friday 3ds. Well, that and besides Metroid all I use mine for is Picross. Looks cool though.

Part of me knew that before I pressed "submit". I need to buy a 2nd Switch for my house so I can't justify buying ....(let me count a 7th 3ds for my house) but I might put it on the list for Mrs. Claus to grab me.

Thinking about picking up a n3dsxl, I have to keep remembering this.
Maybe I'll get a refurb unit with a refurb charger.
My best guess is the $249.99 - $279.99, only cuz Metroid will be a download code within it, 3DS is outta production, and people will gobble this up easily because of the Metroid design.
Get one of those soft rubbery covers. I put them on mine so they don't get scratched
