I really dislike the way Ocelot looks, he looks nothing like his older version from MGS2 and 4.
His voice is also nowhere near as gritty and the intonation is totally different. Of course, different voice actors, but it might as well have been a completely different character. It feel so "out of place" for someone like Ocelot.

He does look a lot different than he did in past MGS games
I felt the same way at first but he grew on me. His voice wasn't rough at all in MGS3 so I think it's fine the way it is.
