I feel for the people who don't own an X1. I own all consoles and can sympathize, Pretty shitty when people have played it on PS3/PS4/PC and now to play the sequel they will have to buy an X1. Didn't expect it at all lol, That came out of no where especially with SE's complaining and crying about the sales.

In the end though, It's all about the money. That's a megaton announcement, I'd expect it at E3 not here.

Well to be far it is a moneyhat so that is really the only answer. Really though there is nothing wrong with exclusives it just seems weird since the game sold a lot better on ps consoles.

QB had incredible visuals, but that gameplay is suspect. Sunset is going to be the more fun game. Also, lol at SE taking the L preemptively. You guys understand that Microsoft would have needed to pay SE to make this worth it? I guess that Microsoft really wanted a good competitor to the Uncharted series. This might just boost Uncharted sales a little, lol.

I can see this, but why wouldn't Microsoft publish it? According to resources, SE is still publishing it. Also, Sunset Overdrive! SQUEE!

Yeah that's basically what they did. Except I don't think Square Enix got the good end of the deal here unless MS seriously threw enough money at them to the point where SqueEnix doesn't even have to care.
