for Square, surely? Do CD get any say in this? I expect they'd be pissed that less people will get to play it. Unless this was genuinely the only way this game would have gotten green-lit, which I doubt as it was already announced at E3 with none of this exclusive talk

I think it says alot about Square and their financial situation. Risk and reward. The potential to earn by releasing multiplat is there, but isnt guaranteed. Sucking from the golden teet of Microsoft would be, and if they are struggling on the financial side, this is a quick guaranteed cash injection which will only please shareholders.

TR exclusivity makes sense even though I'm really surprised by it. MS needs something to compete against Uncharted and Square can't win against Uncharted head to head on playstation. They'll just realease it in 2016 when the Uncharted thing blows over.

The white X1 looks somewhat too plain on this pic. I'm prefering the cod one.
