(Time to Be Confirmed)Launches in the US this thursday!
Hey Nintendo fans! #Miitomo & My Nintendo launches in the U.S. on 3/31. Be sure to register! http://Ninten.do/6011B9Sa3
In addition to Twitter, how do you add friends in this? If you know someone else who has it can you send them a friend invite or something?
A quick question to those who've used it: Is it possible to set up multiple accounts on Miitomo? Or at least being able to publish to multiple social media accounts on the same service? A co-worker brought forth the idea of publishing Miitomo related tweets to one particular Twitter account. Or the possibility of making one Miitomo account we can all access, using that one Mii to represent the company.
Man I hope I explained that well lol
OK thanks. One last question, can you link both Twitter and Facebook? Will people I add through Facebook then be able to see my Twitter name or vice versa? You can add them as friends if you're friends on twitter (follow each other), friends on facebook or are next to them in real life. The last option requires both of you to press a symbol in Miitomo at the same time.

I think if you link your Miitomo app to a Nintendo account you can access the same character on multiple devices. But I don't think it's easily possible to play multiple character on one device. Haven't fully confirmed this yet though. I don't think one Mii for multiple people makes much sense anyway, as the questions being asked are mostly personal so each person would have a different answer. Same with Mii clothing, personality, etc. It's all very individual.
Excellent, thanks. You can link both at the same time. If you follow someone new on Twitter or add a new friend on Facebook, you need to update it in Miitomo before being able to add them there (takes only like one or two clicks). They cannot see your Twitter or Facebook. All they can see is your Miitomo name, profile and your friends list. The profile only shows things like your in-app levels for popularity and style, personality and such things. No private information. Showing your friend list to others can be disabled.
Makes sense. Hopefully, our group can at least link our individual Miitomo messages and pics and stuff to one Twitter account.
Last question, to anyone that can answer: Can this be used on a tablet as well? Or phones only? If a specific is needed, me and a couple others are rocking the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. But one of us is unfortunately stuck with a very old phone at the moment.
What's New
Added feature for making friends with friends of your friends.
Mutual friends will now appear in the list of suggested friends.
Added the "View online answers" button to the All Answers screen.
Changed hashtag and image for sharing an answer to the event version.
Fixed other issues.
If you add friends to Miitomo through Twitter, do they have to stay friends on Twitter or do they "transfer" across.
Only asking because I'm not a fan of having my Twitter feed filled with all you guys on the Miitomo Twitter list.
Version 1.1.0 is out now on Android.
Adding friends of friends is really easy, they just show up in the suggested list with how many mutual friends you have.
Also, there's still only Japan in the country list.
#Miitomo launches tomorrow but it could be late in the day! We'll tweet when it's available on iOS and Android.

Available now for ios , you have to log in to JP store

They do stay.
Though I will say, you're going to get a lot more out of this app if you limit it to people you actually know. Adding a hundred random people just creates meaningless noise.
Not anymore. I just chose France and linked my Nintendo Account just fine.
Yeah, you're correct. I can switch now too.Not anymore. I just chose France and linked my Nintendo Account just fine.
Yeah, you can now change your country in Miitomo and connect it to your Nintendo account!
EU app store updates around 5PM GMT, I thinkSo it might be at 23:59.
I've put a few hours into the Japanese version but haven't added any friends. Is there any way to do that if you're not on Facebook/Twitter or in the same room? I don't use either service and have some friends who are in the same boat but we don't live geographically close.
After the new update you should be able to add the friends of your friends within the app. This may be a way for all of you to connect.I've put a few hours into the Japanese version but haven't added any friends. I'm going to be pretty salty if they just let those of you who side-loaded just update a few things and be done with it. What was the reason for this delay if that's the case? Literally the same game![]()
How would that work? Spoofing GPS?I thought about this. Maybe we should have a set of GAF coordinates people can spoof to.
Yeah I kind of figured. I'm definitely willing to do that but I can't speak for the others I'm trying to add! After the new update you should be able to add the friends of your friends within the app. This may be a way for all of you to connect.
The only other option I see is to create a Twitter account just for this game. Plenty of people here have already done it and it only takes a few seconds anyway.
There's a list with Miitomo users out there. (In OP I think) Just follow everyone on it and wait for them to follow you back. Then you can add them on the game. No idea if all those guys are still actually playing the game though. So how are some of you guys adding each other? Just sharing your Twitter?
