Yeah, I've given up on making sense of it too. Now I just open the login bonus card at random intervals, then reopen it, and reopen it, and reopen it until the thing finally decides to register the bonus.
 
Daily logins have always been perfect for me. I'm on a Note 3.

I got every single color pants and landed on pants again 5 more times.

It's hard to avoid getting an item early before going for the suit.

Consider this is a Santa item it won't be back for a year. If by Christmas Eve if I don't hit it I may put in another $10 to give it a go. I've been good about not putting in money for a few months now other than the 99 cents 500 coin offer which I used all of today just going for the suit.

Anyway, here's some funky detail. At Answers Central, if the first answer you give is to a new question, you get ten credits that day. If you edit an old answer first, you get nothing. Though deleting an answer and then answering that question is also fine.

I'm still active. I tried cleaning up my list of inactive people weeks ago because it was getting too big and I kept having people with no new answers to read visiting my room. I might have deleted you by mistake. If so, I'm sorry!

You know, I thought Miitomo, especially its outfit Mii, might get integrated into Switch's ecosystem. What a foolish thought.
That shit doesn't even have Miiverse. >:(
 
Yes I am surprised about the Mii's and MiiVerse, maybe it will be part of the online when they announce it?

I know this is off topic, but without Mii's there won't be any Streetpass games for the mobile part of the Switch :/

They do still have Mii's (your Mii) on the Club Nintendo site and that is all new and not long been updated.
 
Why do people keep saying Miis are gone!?

All evidence points to them still being with us.

The only evidence pointing towards their demise is the insane theories of tin foil hat wearers.
 
They're not literally gone entirely but

- No Streetpass Plaza (or games)
- No Waru Waru Plaza
- No Mii Maker
- No Miiverse
- No Miitomo integration

Clearly shows a scaling back for Mii's.
I still expect them to feature in certain games (they're in Mario Kart) and the online chat app thing, but I'd imagine chances for games such as Tomodachi Life and Miitopia are less likely. Hopefully I'm wrong!... but the fact they were all over Wii Sports and Nintendoland and yet don't feature at all in 1, 2 Switch is pretty telling, no?

Here's the thing:

We know nothing about what the system comes with. Why would they tell us it comes with Mii Maker when it like telling us it comes with system settings - its been part of their last three consoles. The fact that Mario Kart supports Miis means there must be a way to have Miis on the system, to have Miis on the system means a Mii Maker.

I've played 1,2,Switch and it's not like Wii Sports or Nintendoland at all. It's not an avatar based game. It's much about the people playing (hence their emphasis on looking your opponent in the eye) as it is the controller so it makes sense to use real people to illustrate this.

People need to calm down and wait for the facts.

...and yet after having seen the UI we know there is no Mii Plaza, Miiverse, Badge Arcade, Flipnote Studio, Internet Browser, Activity Log, etc..... so actually we do know something about what the system comes with.

We don't need to wait for facts to see that Mii's coming spilling into and filling the screen whenever you turned on the Wii U to them now being a system menu option shows how they've been de-emphasied, which is all I'm claiming.

For what it's worth, they can still and also retroactively add an games/album feature to Miitomo, and the upload interface for that on the switch could be with the share button. Just as food for unreasonable expectations.

Maybe they also want to retire the NNID in favour of the NAcc in the long term.

Nintendo's lack of feature integration is horrible.

So many games use miis and have outfits and it's all disjointed as fuck. Such a missed opportunity for developing a cohesive ecosystem.

This confuses me... I know that Nintendo didn't do a great job of communicating some things about Switch, but come on... Do people really believe that they released Miitomo so it can be killed off after a year? They just added the functionality to use your Miitomo Mii for your Nintendo Account!

I hope Nintendo talks about some of the missing pieces for Switch soon. It's driving me nuts to see so many people think that whatever they didn't talk about is just completely absent.

Lol last week I got a reply on Answer Central from some random person. I had mentioned something Pokémon Go related. The reply was "people still play Pokémon Go?"

I thought that was pretty rich coming from someone who was using Miitomo :lol
 
Damn, that's a lot of stuff in the shop, and I just spent 3200 coins yesterday. And it's not even the whole offer.
 
Great, so the updated Miitomo upped the hardware requirements or something, because it crashes on boot. UGH!

Hopefully it's just the maintenance.
 
I had no problems logging in and I doubt the hardware requirements could have changed cos I can't see anything that requires more power.

At the beginning you do need to sync data and agree to new terms. It may have simply been a problem with a connection at this point that caused the crash.


Finally able to see all the choices for daily items. This is how it should have been from the beginning (or at least Tomodachi style where you unlock colour options when you've seen them)

It did crash before the update from time to time, in the Mii Central and such, probably after the RAM had run out. I'll see what can be done. Already using another phone for FEH because that kept crashing, too. But at least there I'm certain it's the hw reqs.
 
Not crashing for me but I'm getting a lot of random freezes that last for a few seconds at a time. If it doesn't get better then I guess it might be time to finally drop Miitomo. There's barely anyone on it anymore. Saw a big drop off of users after Christmas break.

I still want to use it but it's just so barren now whenever I (rarely) check-in.
The lack of any sort of Switch integration probably signals the end for this, for myself anyway.
