He is mostly known for his work on the Dragon Age series but also worked on titles such as Jade Empire and Mass Effect.

I remember watching all the DvD bonus footage from Dragon Age: Origins and then not hearing anything until Inquisition came out. He gave us all the tips and tricks in Origins.

I can only hope that it is an actual, honest, full blown RPG that will have taken all the right lessons from Dragon Age 3 (on how not to design quests and combat) and Witcher 3 (on how to design quests and write) and Kingdom Come (on how to immerse the player).

Wouldn't it be strange if Ubisoft became what Bioware was as Bioware is becoming what Ubisoft was/partially still is.

Dragon Age Origins was one of my alltime favorite games of that generation and I was absolutely let down by how the series progressed. I know that GAAS and the idea of micro transactions is the focus and the evolution of games but if Ubi could just push out a few games like old Bioware games I would really enjoy that.

I know this won't be a popular theory - But I'm guessing Ubi brought him on board with the notion being that he will help figure out how make the next AC (according to rumor the third in the current trilogy, set in ancient Rome) as big of a jump-off from Odyssey as Odyssey was a jump-off from Origins.

So was Ubisoft too woke or not woke enough? :pie_thinking:

Neither, there were not enough awesome buttons to press
