Well not you specifically but yeah that screenshot came across as a bit of a "starfield" look at these weird ass models kinda post.
But I dont even think his character looks that bad there, albeit very unflattering at that moment.
No harm meant from my side either brother. I just find the weird agenda some people have against this game very weird.

I agree there is a weird amount of hate for this game and a lot of games in general these days.
I for example loved the just cause games back in the day. Lower budget but really fun sandboxes and they were fun as hell.
I think this game looks pretty fun for a run around and if it has a decent single player campaign I'll definitely be picking it up down the line.

Just Cause 2 was a lot of fun, yeah it wasnt the highest budget game, the voice acting was bad, but the gameplay was fun as hell.
Now Im not saying this is gonna be as fun as JC2 but it might as well be, we'll just have to wait and see.
But yeah we need more fun third party shooters if u ask me

Can they put more detailed information about the game? Not much there to say if the min-to-min gameplay is good/bad.
If those are the only issues then it could still be a 10/10 underneath it all and just need some bug fixes.

The game has always looked mid to me, very safe in its game design. It also doesn't surprise me that it needs a day one patch, I think they hid the jank well in the promotional trailers, but it's there if you have a keen eye for it. The studio making the game is new, still in its infancy, and I think if you were interested in the game before hand you should overlook this now. I'll get it down the road on sale, only because Leslie Benzies is behind the game.

Ufff... Not gonna lie, I wasnt particularly interested in this game but it is always good to have more good games around. So sad that that this may rival Star Citizen management (they needed the morbilion dollars to keep it running)

EVEN if this game flops and sells like crap, the company or even the community (if the game is worth it ofc) can fix it. Live service always online are complicated, not only because you only get what the corpos said you can have in the first year, but because the game just becomes useless code if they took out the servers.

Just Cause 2 is one of my favorite games and a single 10 second clip of JC2 could outshine entire marketing trailers of Mindseye.
It's not unjust hate when gameplay is shown, content roadmap is there, dev trouble internally all pointing to the game looking mid AF. Lesser than mid actually.
Its better to do shallow open world with some things right. Take Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, I imagine its a shallow open world with Ubislop farcry towers but it makes thing simple/fun, it prouds itself to do only two things and does them well. Ubi-Avatar > Mindeye. (have not played both of them)

Anyone who has followed the development of Everywhere in tandem with MindsEye should have seen this coming. Said it before and I'll say it again: They realized they needed to get something out to market after years of development and taking millions of dollars from investors like NetEase.
The game will be most likely be poorly reviewed and Build a Rocket Boy will probably go the way of Firewalk Studios. I don't know why so many people here have such a high opinion of Benzies. He's an executive, not a creative.

Graphically really good. The part around minute 21 when he drives around the desert and enters the building looks very impressive. And it's without the patch still.
Yeah it seems to run bad but I don't mind.
we don't need to wait for reviews anymore. The gameplay is not too bad. But the game is already cooked critically. It we get bad reviews even if it's good/mid game

The gameplay looked really good to me. Not washed out either. Only bad performance which I don't mind with those graphics.
But 100% it will be reviewed bombed to some degree. We see it time and time again.

The reliance on day1 patches from basically every dev/publishers is getting worse every year. Bugfree might be impossible in any game that isn't very basic, but too many games get printed on discs where a good portion of all the data needs to be replaced, undermining the idea that a physcial purchase is a finished/playable product, turning discs into spinning keys for a download game. The cost cutting in releasing too early, with too little quality testing seems to tarnish the early feedback more and more, which might become more and more a problem with sales, so hopefully it will dial itself back a bit again and products will get more time to cook.
