I think it's more like it goes exclusive or stays multiplat and is homogenized.

At the dawn of a gen there really is no niche. There's no audience to speak of. You have to start somewhere and a good place is a franchise that has some serious diehards.

MS want to give you a reason to buy into their new machine. A PC release anywhere near the first year of this machine would be silly.

Really hope this isn't exclusive. Would be a massive coup for whoever does pick it up if it does go to that, though. Still, Mirror's Edge is one of my most favourite current gen games. What a great experience.
