Latos is a cheap short term pitcher who could provide some middle of the rotation production down the stretch. I would have had no problem if the Yanks picked him up.
The Yanks being in on Price goes against everything Heyman said but rumors always clash. Price is a great pitcher but he will require Scherzer type money to resign.

I just watched and listened to Tulo's press conference. He seems like a great and motivated guy, so I like him a lot as a person. Hopefully he'll be just as likeable as a Blue Jay roster player.
It's a definite upgrade over Reyes without a doubt. But losing MORE pitching prospects when this team is already suffering from a lack of arms is troubling.

Of course they are, it's fucking Toronto, and the Leafs aren't around to be shat upon. That being said, Reyes as a defender sucks. It's sad to lose his valuable speed and solid lead-off abilities, but if we get a guy who is solid defensively, and can mash, that works out.
