uh, there doesn't happen to be a PC version, does there?

enjoyed this game on Wii several years ago

Pretty sure it's PS4/PSV only.

If you have the specs for it, you can run the old Wii games on Dolphin. I still play MLB Power Pros 2008 on it from time to time.

I was at work, so I missed the Royals getting blown out. Wouldn't say I missed it, Bob.

Looks like the perfect day to lose, though. Everyone else in the AL Central lost except for Cleveland. I'll take it.

no team since the dead ball era can match the Braves Power Numbers.

also the Dodgers are 29th in baseball with 20 HRs. The Braves are last with 6 HRs.

if that orange netting is the wall then the braves might have a chance to hit a few HRs out next year.

Kevin Maitan | Rank: 1

Scouting grades: Hit: 60 | Power: 60 | Run: 40 | Arm: 70 | Field: 50
Maitan has been called the best international prospect since Miguel Sano and his talents have been compared to a young Miguel Cabrera and Chipper Jones.

Some scouts have designated him as a once-in-a-generation prospect. Every scout knows he is special.

The Venezuelan teen is a switch-hitter who has shown power from both sides of the plate. He has also displayed hitting mechanics and an approach at the plate that are beyond his years. Athletic and agile, Maitan is a sound defensive player and has displayed good range in both directions. He has one of the best arms in the class and a high baseball IQ. Scouts also like his frame.

A shortstop, Maitan profiles as a regular everyday third baseman. He has a knack for making the game look easy and it's no surprise teams have been scouting him since he was 14.

The Braves are considered the favorite to sign Maitan.

It is crazy. The Mets hit more homeruns in the three games with them, then the Braves have hit all season.

red sox were likely gonna take at least one.
at least with danks gone you will actually face a decent starter in game 3 which the white sox will take before greeting the twins with a sweep.

You just jinxed the White Sox. The Twins seem to hit them well and when they get on a roll they seem to roll us.

Bring him to the dodgers.

Dodgers or Yanks are almost inevitable. Would rather it be the Dodgers so he can keep hitting. He's having a better season at the plate than on the mound so far this year. But unless a team goes with the buyout strategy, it's not happening until 2018 at the earliest.

Would really be cool if he went to someone like they Yanks and they experimented with him as a two-way player, though.

Yeah... That's never going to happen if he signs with us.

I like how they already know where every single player from Venezuela and the DR is signing.
the way these deals seem to work now is that the agent holds all the power over the player. So the teams can sign a lesser player from the same agent before the signing period for more than they would normally and pass that money along to the agent to make the player they really want hold off and sign with the team when the int signing period starts.
the battle station is almost fully armed and operational.

Please get back to .500 tonight and continue this roll, Jays. You need to get on track.

Also, beat the shit out of that asshat Holland.

The Atlanta Braves hosted its first media day at the $672 million SunTrust Park May 5 — just five days before season tickets become available to the public.

The ballpark, which is taking shape in the Cumberland district on the northwest side of the Atlanta Perimeter, is the 10th designed by the Kansas City, Mo.-based architectural firm Populous, Braves Chairman and CEO Terry McGuirk said.

“There are about 2,000 people working here today,” he said. “It will truly be one of the most iconic ballparks in all of baseball.”

While most of the amenities at the 41,500-person stadium will be unique to Atlanta, club Vice Chairman John Schuerholtz (the former president of the team) said there are three ballparks that have the same orientation as SunTrust Park — Tiger Stadium in Detroit, Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati and Texas’ Globe Life Park in Arlington.

"We had access to data that Dobbins Air Reserve Base has gathered over the past 30 years and we used that to help determine the orientation of the park," he said.

Unlike Turner Field, SunTrust Park will be asymmetrical.

“We decided to make our outfield asymmetrical and the height of our wall changes,” Schuerholtz said. “We did it because it will make it more appealing to our fans while giving our players a home field advantage.”

Schuerholtz noted he believes SunTrust Park will be a “fair ballpark just like Turner Field.”

“If a pitcher makes a bad pitch, the hitter should hit it out and if he makes a good pitch, he can get him out,” he said. “I had considerable input on the dimensions of the field, the height of the wall and things like that.”

The park will also feature a full-service SunTrust Banks Inc. (NYSE: STI) branch, SunTrust Corporate Executive Vice President Jenner Wood said.

“Braves Country fits right in our footprint,” he said. “We are a Southeastern U.S. bank but are expanding nationally. We believe that if you build your community, you will build your bank.”

Aside from being entertained by the action on the field, there will be plenty of other features that will keep one amused.

Braves President of Development Mike Plant said the Braves Chop House at SunTrust Park will be 2.5 times the size of the one at Turner Field.

“We are still fine tuning parts of the Chop House because of how important that iconic piece will be,” he said. “But we will also have a field-level party suite in right field so fans can harass the visiting team’s right fielder.”

Populous founder Earl Santee said the stadium will have an intimate feeling for fans.

“The seats are 30 to 50 feet closer to the field,” he said. “Plus, there are fewer seats than there were at Turner Field.”

The new stadium will hold 41,500 fans with a higher percentage of seats closer to the field than any other MLB ballpark.

An update from Turner Field, the playing field at SunTrust Park will be lit entirely by LED lights.

Santee noted the park will have the “largest canopy in baseball that will shade over 60 percent of the customers.”

Another new feature, for fans who have access to the 14,000 square-foot Delta Sky360 Club, is the post-game interview room that is divided by a glass wall.

“Fans in the Delta Sky360 Club will be able to watch and listen to post-game interviews,” SunTrust Park Preview Center Executive Director Evan Gitomer said.

Gitomer added the club will also have a “wall of made of Gold Gloves” that were won by former Braves players.

Mike Hall, vice president for SunTrust Park’s project manager JLL, said 1.8 million hours have been put in the project and it is “on budget and on time.”

Hall added the playing field will be installed between March 1 and March 17, 2017.

At the top of the park overlooking The Battery Atlanta will be a play area — XFINITY Rooftop.

The rooftop will feature ping-pong tables, foosball tables, corn hole, and a virtual reality experience.

“Imagine having a glove on your hand and being able to feel a ball hit your glove,” Senior Marketing Manager at Comcast Business Tug Maude said. “This rooftop is going to be a spot people want to come to and experience.”

Maude added the rooftop could be home to a Waffle House, which first opened at Turner Field in 2013.

Comcast Corp. (NASDAQ: CMCSA), which will house its regional office headquarters at the park, also hope to broadcast the game on the rooftop in 8K resolution, which is the current highest ultra high definition television and would be a first for a sports stadium.

Doug Guthrie, senior vice president of Comcast's Big South Region, said the rooftop will be open to all ticket holders and he anticipates it being open for special events.

“This will be one of the most highly connected stadiums in the nation,” he said. “You’ll be able to stream video and immediately watch instant replays through a terabit network.”

Guthrie noted the ballpark and its adjacent mixed-use development will have Wi-Fi access that will be connected throughout both venues.

The Braves are also working on a new attraction for SunTrust Park — a Zip Line.

During Atlanta Business Chronicle and Atlanta Sports Council’s annual Business of Sports Summit on March 25, Derek Schiller, Braves’ executive vice president of sales and marketing, said the Zip Line is part of an attempt to enhance the fan experience at the new ballpark.

This amenity is part of many geared toward parents and their children.

“We are very family friendly, and that is a significant portion of our audience,” Schiller said. “Well over 50 percent of our fans are families that come with their child to a game.”

For now, the Braves are releasing few details about the attraction, but the Zip Line would most likely be behind the ballpark’s video board and take people from one side of the concourse to the other.

The Braves also plan numerous other amenities at SunTrust Park.

The ballpark and mixed-use development Battery Atlanta will include a central plaza, an Omni Hotel, and a slew of new restaurants.

The Braves also announced at the Business of Sports Summit plans to use SunTrust Park as standalone concert venue, which will further cement the area as a destination for live music.

The Braves partnered with Live Nation (NYSE: LYV) to develop and run the 53,000-square-foot entertainment venue The Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre, which will have a standing room only capacity of 4,000 and feature 40 music or comedy shows a year.

SunTrust Park is slated to open in April 2017.

Why do the Rangers always have to score first? Every game in this series has to be a grind it out close game.

Storen shaved his beard and stopped pitching like an idiot. Maybe Cecil should shave his head.
