dunno if the league caught up to his shtick or what
rotation is looking rough

Trout Watch:
By the end of the season Mike Trout will likely have accumulated more career WAR value than David Ortiz, Mike Piazza, Sammy Sosa, Ichiro, Gary Sheffield and Jim Edmonds. Mike Trout is 25 years old.

Ken and Ryu wins!!!
Ken shyruken cancel/tag to Ryu ultra 1 for the finish
Yo Line, sfV was being on Amazing Race tonight
Angels get a lot of (justifiable) criticism but for the fans, we're blessed to watch Trout each game. Kid's crazy, and you can just see his love of the game when he's playing which makes it even better.

@FiveThirtyEight
The average MLB pitcher now holds the ball a full two seconds longer between consecutive pitches.
@No_Little_Plans
The longer a pitcher holds the ball between pitches, the harder he throws his subsequent fastball. So there's an advantage to slowing down.
Donaldson and possibly Tulo back tonight. If they could get the rotation healthy the Jays might actually be a good team. Considering the slow start and health, the Jays record isn't really that horrible. They're gonna need a serious hot streak to get back in contention, but at least competitive baseball for the rest of the season is certainly possible.

Win a round of sfV against the local players. I think Poognko was on itLol, wtf was their objective? hahaha
Not much being said about Happ but apparently he's throwing again. They probably just don't know, and after Gibbons made a bit of an ass of himself predicting the return of Donaldson and Tulo, the Jays should probably back off on the optimistic injury predictions.It does sound like Sanchez will be out for a while. When is Happ due back?
We're watching one of the all time greats and guy will never make it to the playoffs with the Angels.Trout Watch:

1) The Yankees are in a remarkable position. They legitimately can afford Bryce Harper and Manny Machado. A truly scary team going forward.
Can we talk bout how bad [...] Gary Sheffield [...] is?
[...] dumb [...]
A.K.A. Yankees fans will believe any stuff we throw out there, and will make for good website traffic leading up to the trade deadline.
n.b. They're not going to get either of them.

and just remember. these are the teams that didn't pick him
even the angels picked him second over someone else
Of course the Mariners somehow drafted the worst CF with the best pick of the bunch
Yankees we're losing their first round pick regardless that year. If they hadn't signed Tex, their first round pick would have gone to the Brewers (Sabathia).Good thing the Yankees signed Mark Teixeira.
And lucky thing for the Angels that they had traded for Mark Teixeira in the middle of the season before.
Too bad for the Braves, who could have had that pick.
Instead, they got Casey Kotchman.
