Under on the Reds is easy money.
lol at the Astros. Painful.
beat writers say mo is retiring after this season.

Albert Pujols was fined by Mike Scioscia today because his phone went off during the team meeting. :lol

Seriously? They won 64 games last year with basically everyone hurt and atrocious defense all over the diamond. The D will be much, much better this year. I have no doubt Mauer rebounds, Span should as well. I have no expectations out of Morneau, but I think if Morneau is playing to his ability they'll flirt with .500.You must enjoy losing, because I doubt they make it to 70

The rotation is trash, but they play in a weak division, and the offense should be drastically improved over last year. I'd be fairly shocked if they won less than 74 games. Nearly as shocked as I would be if the Tigers won over 94 games.
the fuck did I just read?
How does Griffin have a job? Some writers are really fucking dumb.http://ronroenickestolemybaseball.com/2012/02/20/260/

Saw that Griff article yesterday, total wtfness. He's generally not completely retarded, but that was...something else.http://ronroenickestolemybaseball.com/2012/02/20/260/

It's Mannyball time.
I would have liked the Yankees to have Damon instead, and I still don't like them getting rid of Montero, but pitching should be better at least. Arod has to be back to hitting without injuries or they won't win anything. With this team I just don't think they are better than Philly, Texas, Detroit. They are about even with Tampa and Red Sox.
yanks will be 3rd in the al east this year. old lineup and shitty pitching.
The Sox are finishing 4th!?
sox rotation > yank rotation
sox lineup > yank lineup
that said
tb rotation > all
lineup wise
sox>yank>tb

New trailer for the show. Tied in with all the players talking about taking part in a photo shoot with SCEA. Maybe a new mode thatvwe can play as these stars?
AL East: The Game
edit: The Sox rotation is extremely iffy after the first 3, so the Yankees one destroys it.
Don't worry, you can always slot Alonzo there.
oh yeah.........
Bruce Bochy told Buster Posey to not block the plate anymore to stop potential scorers.
Can't wait to see how other teams abuse this.
Frankman's alt account?Dillon Gee > Every pitcher in MLB.
Frank wishes he was asian.Frankman's alt account?
Blocking the plate is fucking idiotic and should be banned by MLB since it's in violation of the obstruction rule. The fact that some meatheads [sup Sanjuro] think it's essential and actually valuable is laughable.

Obstruction said:OBSTRUCTION is the act of a fielder who, while not in possession of the
ball and not in the act of fielding the ball, impedes the progress of
any runner.
Rule 2.00 (Obstruction) Comment: If a fielder is about to
receive a thrown ball and if the ball is in flight directly toward and
near enough to the fielder so he must occupy his position to receive the
ball he may be considered “in the act of fielding a ball.” It is
entirely up to the judgment of the umpire as to whether a fielder is in
the act of fielding a ball.
Interference said:INTERFERENCE
(a) Offensive interference is an act by the team at bat which interferes with,
obstructs, impedes, hinders or confuses any fielder attempting to make a play.
http://projects.ajc.com/gallery/view/sports/braves/braves-training-022012/LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. Tommy Hanson and the Braves got a scare Monday morning when the pitcher drove off the road in a one-car accident that left him with a possible concussion. The Braves were awaiting test results.
The incident occurred at about 7 a.m., three hours before the Braves first spring-training workout for pitchers and catchers at ESPNs Wide World of Sports on the edge of Disney World outside Orlando.
Hanson told Braves officials that he blew a tire while rounding a curve near the team training site. He had his car towed and made it to camp in time for a 9:30 a.m. team meeting, before a 10 a.m. practice for pitchers and catchers. He didnt work out.
I heard at about 7:40, Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez said. He called and said, Hey, Im going to be running a little late, I blew a tire. I said all right, fine.
There was no incident report or charges filed, and Hanson had no visible injuries, no cuts or bruises, general manager Frank Wren said. But after Hanson complained of not feeling well following the meeting, he was checked out by the Braves training staff and sent to see a doctor for concussion testing.
He ran off the road, Wren said. We dont know a lot of details other than that. And he banged his head in the process. Were just being cautious with him, making sure and getting him checked. Hes going to see a doctor just to double check, like we always do. There were no physical signs, other than he just doesnt feel great.
Gonzalez said Hanson could miss several days if he had a concussion, but that he thought the pitcher might be OK and on the field for Tuesdays workout.
I think everybodys kind of cautious and they should be with the concussion stuff, Gonzalez said. I think were being a little proactive, we want to make sure.
Okay, what the fuck is with that avatar
