Jamie Moyer has requested and been granted his release from the Orioles when he was informed there was no immediate spot for him on the MLB club.
 
The Red Sox have announced SP Clay Buchholz will not make his scheduled start Sunday against the Braves at Fenway Park due to a stomach illness. No replacement has been announced, but it's expected to be Aaron Cook coming off the DL. If so, Buchholz would likely be DL'ed.

and our pitching is fucking godly too. If only we could come up with one or more consistent hitters, we'd be in a pretty decent position as far as .500 or playoffs are concerned. Can't wait until we unveil my boy Starling Marte :)

Now, I'm not going to say anything about the zone yet because it looks consistent. But if Young can't get that belt-high strike call he's going to have problems. Zone appears to be small.

I would almost compliment FOX on the camera work today, except they have that stupid fucking ticker taking up 15% of my screen or so.
