Manny Ramirez, meanwhile, has found his stroke with Triple-A Sacramento. He went 3 for 5 Tuesday and is hitting an even .300. He has nine hits, three doubles and nine RBI in his past five games. This after he had no extra-base hits in his first 11 games with the River Cats.

Friday could be a day the A's target to bring Ramirez up, since they return to Oakland for a nine-game homestand and will get the use of the designated hitter back.

I'm just now getting into sabermetrics. Secondary average is a cool stat. It makes traditional zeros look like heroes. But, usually, the heroes look even more heroic. Adam Dunn, mo' fuckaz.

never heard about the cat, apparently

I already RIP'd the season after Morrow went down, just looking forward to d'Arnaud at this point.

This morning a coworker and I agreed that the Morrow DL announcement was our official death knell for the season. I still expect the team to be good for the rest of the year and be competitive-ish in the AL East, but we're still a few pieces away from really competing I think (pitching lol). But hey, that's what most Jays fans thought going into the year.

I love how the Braves sent Medlen down to get stretched out, but now Delgado and Minor are good again and the Braves suddenly need bullpen help again.

Good series Jays. Sorry about Morrow :\

6-0 Road Trip! Looking forward to the Yankees series. I think I'll be at the game on Sunday.

I might be able to catch a braves/yankees game this next week in NY, I'm not sure I want to go and see the braves get clobbered, but I might not have this chance again for a long while.

Anyone have any recommendations on must see stuff or must eat at new yankee stadium?

Make sure to hit up the right field bleachers and meet the Fuck Youse Guy.

Welp, at least I can say I was there in person to see the end of the Jays season. They're so done.

Although, on the plus-side, I got these totally awesome cards!

It's pretty amazing that Adam Dunn is still just 32 years old.

Guy has a serious shot at 600 homers.

I was surprised he had 21 HR's. He's got comeback player of the year locked up... well, we do have a lot more season left to be played.

Also, Bryce Harper is such a fucking douche, omg. I used to think he just looked douchey.

Okay, I saw the question to which he was responding. I understand why he did it. Still, he pulled a "cool story, bro" (pretty much) to a reporter.

Reporter deserved it, don't waste someone's time with stupid shit.

sooo when is the last day to vote, that is when i'll do it.

Fans can submit up to 25 ballots per email address with the All-Star Game Online Ballot, through June 28 exclusively at MLB.com and all 30 club sites, wired or mobile. Once that voting ends, then comes the always-frenetic finish with the All-Star Game MLB.com Final Vote from July 1-5 and the annual MVP vote during the All-Star Game to help decide who wins the Ted Williams Most Valuable Player Award.
