Yankees would trade for Lee, but a huge return in players on top of helping them out by absorbing all that salary? Hell no.
Curtis Granderson is my new favorite player.

I never thought I'd see the day where the Angels would fleece a team.
So with the Rangers and Dbacks out on Choo, does that make Seattle the favorites?
@Ken_Rosenthal: Source: #Rockies acquire Brett Anderson from #Athletics for Drew Pomeranz and Chris Jensen.
Here is the deal
Yep. I don't think Amaro understands how trades like that work, bless his heart. If you're going to ask the other team to assume the salary, you can't really ask for important players in return too.
Hector Santiago is seriously the coolest pro athlete ever. No exaggeration. A guy who will sit there and ask you questions about your life like youre the cool guy in the conversation and he genuinely cares. Seriously it's a humbleness that I haven't seen from a pro. He's also big in the community. I won't bore you with that but you can google it (the newtown stuff in particular). Really sad he's gone. Angels got a good one.
That being said, they never gave me shit or assaulted me like Mets fans.
You probably were acting like a real Red Sox fan at the time.To be fair, when I was in New York I ran into more "fans" who watched the Mets primarily. A good portion of the Yankee fans either weren't knowledgeable or just liked wearing the cap.

Being blindsided while searching for a cab? Right...
Have you told this story? I feel like you have but I can't remember it.
I hope his goatee gives him more powerrrrrrrrrrr.
Look at that $240 million dollar smile!

Transforming into Ortiz by the minute.
If he turned into Ortiz at 37 I know I certainly wouldn't fucking mind.
So...Mark Mulder just announced at the winter meetings that he's coming out of retirement and wants to pitch in 2014.

Fun 5-6 days in Monterey. Cal club was amazing and that's the best shape Pebble has ever been in when I have played it. Now--back to work?
Is he broke? I cant imagine a 5 year absence going to lead to anything.
Mulder's last post on Twitter seems to confirm it in a subtle way:
The #Astros are one of a handful of teams who have talked with reps for Grady Sizemore, who hasn't played since 2011.
Told it a while ago I believe. Long story short, was harassed by fans in the stadium. On the way out looking for a cab, a whole separate group of Mets fans just jumped me, shoved me to the ground. There was just some guy with his kid who kind of ran and and told them to fuck off.
I think the only genuinely nice person in that whole cesspool was one of the ushers who called me Fenway every time I went.
If you were eating a hotdog without ketchup on it you deserved to be pushed to the ground.
Just pointing out that he's a Yankees fan. And likes ketchup on his hot dogs. All the New Yorkers advocating assault. Real talk.

Technically, he is a Laker fan. So I'm sure he is from Florida or something. Rubs down his hot dog with coconut oil or some shit.
