Just got some tickets for the Red Sox game tomorrow! The first time I've purchased tickets from the Fenway box office in well over a decade.

Holy crap the Toronto media (and fanbase) needs to calm the fark down. It's April and they are ready to fire AA, dismember Gibbons, and burn down the stadium.

i know its only april, but the signs arent really poitning in the right direction for the blue jays. buherle is going to be terrible in the AL East, lawrie cant stay on the field, reyes is out for 3 months, and who knows how much of that will linger for the rest of the season.

Wow .... you a Miami Marlins fan or something equally sad?

im a yankees fan, but mo vaughn was hardly the best player in the league (probably not even the best on his team when he won) when he won the award. not sure what team in a fan of has anything to do with.

I was just playing , but Mo Vaughn was pretty damn awesome in Boston.

Also your pedroia hate is offensive.

The Pedroia argument makes no sense.

John Valentin was a beast that season. Albert Belle arguably had better stats, everyone hated the scumbag though. Edgar Martinez was a lowly DH.

MVP also doesn't equal best statistical player, as we have seen numerous times in the past.

Belle was better than Vaughn in just about every way in 1995. They wouldn't give it to Edgar because he was a DH.

He played on a All-Star team though.

The Buffalo Bisons are kicking the shit out of Syracuse, 24-9 in the 9th. Moises Sierra is 6-6 and a HR shy of the cycle. Jim Negrych has already hit for the cycle and Luis Jimenez has 8 RBI.

Somehow this game is not being played in the PCL.

The 'signs' are meaningless this early in the season.

The Jays made major changes in the off-season to virtually every aspect of the team - and naturally it's going to take time for the players and the new coaching staff to find their footing and any sense of familiarity.

Stop looking at this as if we bought a championship team, and see it as the first step toward building a regularly competitive roster.

If it's June 2014, and the same roster is still under-performing, press the freak out button.

A.J. thought he was the glue, only to find out he was made of that white stuff that forms at the corner of the mouth.

June 2014 may be a bit too far out there, but if you lose 51 games before you win 51 games with that roster, it's time to get concerned.

Blue Jays have yet to field their intended roster this year. The "on paper" team is worthy of the hype, we just haven't seen that team yet.

I, too, think the team would be far better off by giving Adam Lind regular at bats versus lefties.

He is the heart and soul of the franchise.

I've seen your bullpen on paper and off, they are still lousy. Jays still have some work to do.

In that year John Valentin had 8.3 war and he had 4.3 lol
