At least your team can get RISP.
Well, your bullpen has more than one competent pitcher so things will balance out pretty soon. I mean, we just had our pitcher bat with runners at the corners, one out even though he's already at 99 pitches and hasn't been as sharp as he was early in the game.

Basic cable for the summer would probably be about the cost of mlb.tv for 4 months, no?

Yeah, it's close enough. $60 a month for the package with my channel and an HD box.

It's also something about the radio that makes me not miss on on the TV. Been listening to Denny Matthews calls for literally all my life.

No.

Also Stolmy Pimentel is pitching lights out in AA .30 era 28k in 30.1 inning. funny considering his previous minor stats were pretty terrible

We might have a few more prospects break into the top 100 prospects with the break out seasons a lot of our guys are having lol

Melancon and Grilli are a nasty 1-2 this season. I can walk away after the 7th inning during a Pirates lead and feel 100% comfortable that they'll win that game.

T-Mobile’s announcement of a multi-year Major League Baseball partnership was first announced back at the company’s January 8th CES press event. That was the last we’d heard of any partnership, until now. T-Mobile has announced in celebration of their partnership free access to the official app of Major League Baseball, MLB.com At Bat 13 who download the app from May 1st to June 30th.

The app, available through Google’s Play Store and Apple’s app store will offer season-long access to customers who grab the app inside that timeframe. Included is free MLB.TV streaming Game of the Day, access to live home and away radio broadcasts from around the league and highlights, scores, and more from the day’s games.

The offer is available to both new and existing customers, but not available to customers who have previously purchased the app before May 1st. MLB At Bat 13 isn’t available on Windows Phone or BlackBerry devices and any additional in-app purchases are not included in this offer. The total value of the promotion is $19.99 which is pretty decent if you are a die-hard or even a casual baseball fan who didn’t feel the need to splurge on the app prior to T-Mobile’s promotion.

C.J. Wilson, Albert Pujols and Josh Hamilton combine for a total of -.1 WAR so far this season.

They are making "only" 44 million this year combined, but in three years their average age will be 35 and their total salaries will add up to 77 million.

And I'm not sure it's going to get much better for any of them. Wilson might rebound, though he really wasn't elite to begin with, but Pujols' age is showing and Hamilton's been bad for the last season's worth of at-bats and shows no plate discipline whatsoever.

The Angels may end up being the Phillies of the AL West, with several very long contracts from aging stars no longer remotely pulling their weight in salary. The Angel's hope to avoid that fate has to be Trout. He's currently having a far worse season so far, but he's young and it's reasonable to suspect he'll continue to be extremely good long term.

I don't have a good feeling about how many shots to the warning track Buerhle has given up already. Only the second inning. My prediciton: 4 HRs given up by him before he's pulled.

Gave away Segura for nothing.

They need better pitching.

Question. Do any other broadcasts super-impose advertisements on the field like they do in Toronto? They have interchanging advertisements for Orange Julias, Home Hardware, and Honda on the 1st/3rd base lines, and beyond the wall in center field. It's tacky as all hell.

Haven't seen anything like that during Dodgers broadcasts. Most I've seen is the standard green screen box behind home plate that they use sometimes.
