I agree You'd want someone a little more agile and with more speed there, but Craig's arm is better and you would benefit the bat of Adams in the lineup everyday. I know they wont make this move, but I'm just thinking of the positives

Why do you leave Kevin Gaussman in the bullpen? Send him to Double A to get polish as a starter.
To be fair, this is Birdland.
.347 wOBA/117 wRC+ last season was great and could place him as the 3rd best offensive SS in the league that year. It's a huge upgrade over Nunez/Nix who have led the Yanks to almost the worst offensive production out of the SS position in the majors. Of course there is no telling if he can just pick up where he left off.

3B/SS have been black holes. Fuck Kevin Youkilis, should of traded for Micheal Young.
Yeah he makes a huge difference with his speed on the bases. I guess the injuries finally caught up with us as we were doing pretty good there for a bit.
Almost anything would be an upgrade over Youkilis and what a horrible stint as a Yankee. I think Morales would be a good option at 1B (123 wRC+) and he is hammering LH pitching this season which the Yanks need. FA at the end of this season and he should earn his contact.

Starting Wade Davis against the A's seems like a recipe for disaster, but the Royals bats have been red hot the last week, so maybe this will turn out okay if they can just hang on to that momentum.
