I think I had around 40 K's with Carmona in previous games, but today Shawn and Zep pretty much teed off on him and made him leave the game before the 4th. :lol

ST games will start on Monday. You will have the whole week to get them done. I should have it posted later tonight or early tomorrow.

As far as the season goes. I'm locking in on 66 games over a 15 week period with 8 teams making the playoffs. This should take us into July and NCAA season:D. This way nobody gets discouraged if they get off to a slow start. The 15 weeks is due to a 3gm series being done over 5 days. I could have done 3 days but we know how things go with scheduling. The game only allows two divisions, so it'll be AL/NL, with two 3gm series being played within the division and one 3gm series playing out of division.

Buckle down boys :)

Yup, was a good game. I was screwed over by that ground ball that went through Peralta's legs, think that's when you scored all those extra runs. The fielding in this game pisses me off sometimes. :p

I don't know what it is, but I get patient at the end of every game and finally start scoring runs, if I could do that from the get go I'd be golden.

But yea, the guy that hit the HR, his entire zone was pretty much blue, but of course I serve up a meatball. C.C.'s slider was shit all game long. =\

Well that ground ball that went through was recorded as an error.. though the error animation wasn't very clear. Yeah CC's slider was really easy for me to pick up.. couldn't touch the change-ups.. The Jays are a righty heavy lineup, they kill lefties in general.. so i was really happy to see perez after CC.

Anyway, yeah GG.. there was no stuttering at all, one of the smoothest games I've played.

Was it? I thought I only saw one error on the box score and it was on you, oh well. Still though, that's a routine play for a high school kid, not like it was a screamer either, lol.

I was expecting bad things when it said you were from another country, but it was probably the smoothest game I've played aside from Matrix.

What's with the pitching meter in this game. After a while I stop seeing the accuracy mark even though the pitches aren't all used up (if you look at the bars under the pitches)

The meter is directly related to how well you're pitching. If you start getting shelled pitch after pitch you'll lose the little mark. The pitch bars do not indicate how many more you can throw of that pitch, it's just how effective it's been all game as far as I know.

Also, the league is full.

This is going to be a trainwreck. Matrix, we can play tuesday night. If you still want to play for the Astros, we can get that in first. Just to keep the peace and order in the league...

3) Or what will actually happen, We play for the Astros, I wipe the floor with MatRoy Oswaltrix, and I take the Astros, and you take another AL team. (Again, to keep the balance)

If you'd rather not have an AL team, then keep the Stros.

Would anyone in the National League be interested in taking the Tigers? I am considering taking the Diamondbacks.

I am still undecided if the Tigers are the right team for me. I need to tinker around more with different teams to see which one is a best fit. I honestly do better with the Braves than any other team....

Ehhh, I think it's a little too late in the process to change complete leagues if you don't have an already pre-arranged plan. (Matrix refuses to let me give him the Astros, so now I have to take them from him)

We'll see what Z says though. Maybe someone wants to switch.

I am researching other AL teams. I think I am just bummed about the lag on how it affects my strats with my pitching staff.

I'm surprised no one took the Rays. They were my second choice. They've got a decent line-up and a bona fide ace with Kazmir. Ignore the team's success and just look at the individual players..

The staff's beyond solid..

Matt Garza, 3.65 era
Percival closing

But I guess when you match that up with a team like the Yankees or the Tigers who have all-stars at every position, it's not even close.

Real league is up next tuesday. And the point is to make sure people show up and try to get the games done. I'll be damned if we start and some people haven't checked in.

I think we're going to have a problem sending me an invite for the league through Sports Connect. Since my name is under 5 characters, which was minimum on the PS2/PSP version, people are having problems sending me invites and I can't access the website. The legacy compatibility with PS2/PSP version is probably screwing with the PS3 version. We'll see how it plays out, keeping my fingers crossed.

As long as you send everyone an invite LJ, there shouldn't be a problem...Right?

If the schedule shakes out like I think, everyone will play each other once. Not 100% because they generate the schedule.
