MLB The Show League: "insert september collapse here"

i got beat by Core, 4-2. here is what happened:

i was up 1-0 for about half the game. then in the 5th (i think) it was men on the corners and 2 outs. ground ball to furcal, so i preload my throw to 2nd, and he does this weird delayed animation then like underhands the ball all high. runner at 2nd is safe, runner at 1st safe, tie game. fine. next pitch home run. 4-1! fucking titties dude!

remember friends: always go to first base with 2 outs! it just makes sense!

btw, i've noticed less lag late at night... i played a game at 12:30 est last night and it was pretty smooth. But this is an unrealistic time for most of us.. i'm on spring break this week
 
I think it is interesting that from 10PM EST til abou 1105EST, Dezed and I played an absolutlely lag free game, and he is in Canada!! I have played people who live near me and have had awful lag. Is this a reflection of the servers, or is this possibly the result of people using DSL light or Cable light?

Is it confirmed to have dedicated servers or is it P2P? People have been saying dedicated servers but is there any proof of this? a dev comment or something
The net code must be absolutely terrible regardless

I'm pretty sure this game doesn't have dedicated servers.
 
Ok. LJ and I just played and we were going to the bottom of the ninth. I was abut to bring Jones in and it said my opponent forfeited. I was leading 5-4. LJ said he accidentally quit. No biggie.

BUT I GOT THE LOSS!

Good game Denog! I screwed up our game. Denog was up 5-4 and out of time in the pause menu, and I accidentally hit X when the game transitioned to the bottom of the 9th. He had a position player on the mound, so it went straight to the bullpen menu and I hit X by accident.

No lag, good back forth play. Both our pens blew leads, damn that Feliciano!

Damn dude, I feel bad. I need to be more careful. What makes it even worse, is that I avoided it on a couple of occasions only to screw it up at the very end.

Remember that pick-off play, I wasn't even stealing with Beltran. I hit R1 by accident after you threw back. I'm an idiot some times.

No worries. I honestly think we got glitched. I can't figure out why I got the loss, regardless of your boo-boo.
 
I beat Konie like 3-0 I think, the lag was pretty bad. He said he's on wireless though, as much problems as this game already has, go wired!

I am on wireless and have had practically lag free games the last three games. I did plug my cable in last year when playing MrBob and it didn't make a difference.
 
Ive decided Mig can have the Stros,I'll take his Twins.

Good stuff? Id rather use the Stros in a 2nd season where the lag might not be as bad :P

Just wanna throw out a reminder that 3/18(tues) the league starts.. By the time you get home from work it should be up, barring any problems with Sony.
 
Just to let you know my rotation may change mid season as the game isn't updated with the regular rotation yet. Still has Dempster listed as my closer when he should be in the starting rotation. Also, I don't even know if the 4 and 5 pitchers have been finalized on the cubs roster.

I don't like how you don't start out with Fukadome. It's only 2-3 series but still ridiculous.
 
At the moment I plan on going with a 4 man rotation.

That will be my top 3.

Number 4 is up in the air as I'm not sure which one I'll pick, but I'll let you know before the season starts. I'm going to try and get some more games in with Lieber and Marquis this weekend.
 
Migs been too busy playing NBA LIVE 08 to play me in Show :lol I guess I'll keep the Stros.
