UFC officials today revealed Belfort was granted a therapeutic-use exemption for testosterone replacement therapy prior to the bout and that his post-fight drug screen "did not indicate the presence of any prohibited substance for increasing performance improvement."

"To dispel rumors that have been circulated, Zuffa wishes to clarify that Vitor Belfort’s drug test results were negative and did not indicate the presence of any performance enhancing drugs," a statement from Zuffa read.

He kind of raises an interesting point. I feel like if they just announced the next Xbox was digital downloads only like Steam the reactions on the whole would've been much more positive. You can't quite do that in 2013, but this looks like a half-step towards that future. In the meantime, people are just really sour on the idea of a physical item only working on one device. I guess pretend you're going to the store to buy a Steam key? Shrug.

Some people are crazy about buying a game on launch day. It's ridiculous. I only buy day 1 when I really want to play. 95% of the time I wait months to get a game. Video gaming is just one of my hobbies. Motherfuckers buy shit and make a fucking life style out of it.

The difference is Steam is:
1. Wholly independent and not beholden to shareholder interests
2. Part of a larger, unregulated market of games
3. Convenient
4. Prices are cheap

The client still sucks though.

Just look at the pricing on XBLA and PSN and take a look into the future.

But really, all 3 of those "features" in the rumor completely put me off from buying it.
