I can see him getting offered a contract if he beats Alvarez again. Whether or not he'll accept is a different story.

Plus, who knows what kind of contract Bellator is trying to lock him into. I doubt he'd be free to walk if he actually beat their champion.

I don't think he would. We saw what happend when he finally fought real competition in the Melendez fight. Most of the top lightweights in the ufc could probably handle him just as easily.

Eddie Alvarez was top competition too. Kawajiri dominated the shit out of Thomson and got destroyed by Gil as well so maybe he is just that good now to the point where he'll destroy everybody.

Melendez could be capable of steamrolling Edgar and Maynard for all we know. I don't think Aoki's stock should have dropped so significantly after that fight.
