Though I did discover James Thompson is on a winning streak..in India. Good for him, he was a really nice guy when I met him. I wish I had gotten a pic (he asked to borrow an empty chair at the table my wife and I were sitting at).

I've re-evaluated the Colossus a lot in the last year. Obviously when put against A or B level talent he'll get knocked/choked the fuck out, but he's been robbed at least three times in recent years by local judges and other shady dealings (Pudzian, Kimbo, that Japanese dude he fought in Dream 2 years ago).

I suppose he's picked up a good deal in India if SFL is still around in a year's time as he'll only be fighting dudes on his level (Lashley, Duffee, etc.)

That and I like reading his blog. He's more articulate than one would expect him to be.

Yeah, I can tell you at the Kimbo fight people were really fucking pissed in the crowd.

Thompson is a really nice guy, on top of that he actually trains with a good camp (London Shootfighters), nice to see him doing well in SFL, he is the type of guy they need in that he is marketable, capable enough and looks the part.
