Always best to go to the store and pick it up day one and be guaranteed a copy! Plus they can play MHP2G with others while they wait!

Amazon.co.jp sold out of the game weeks ago. So even if you wanted it, you can't order it from them. The game is just way undershipped it seems.

You would see the game shoot up on the top 100 and then drop back down, they did this for the MH psp 3000, GT5 LE and GT5 console.

Hmm you might be right. I checked 2 weeks ago and even just earlier today and it was out of stock. But suddenly now you can purchase it again. I guess it just depends on shipments.

This famous shop had 20 to 30 people at 21:00 yesterday, 100 people at midnight, 500 people by 5:00 in the morning, and 1,000 people by 6:00. At this point, the line circled the 300 meter circumference shop twice. Sales were originally supposed to have started at 7:00, but due to potential traffic issues, the shop pushed this up 30 minutes in advance. Despite the early start, the line continued to grow. A store representative estimated the line to be around 3,000 people by 7:30.

Sad panda. Apparently they lowered the HP values in offline even further. If the demo was any indication, monsters get buffed HP in multiplayer compared to offline, although the number of hunters won't matter.
