Game runs much better than I expected after playing the PS5 version and all the clickbait articles/YT videos. Granted, I have a beefy rig. Hearing it’s not running so well for certain lower configurations. Hopefully they have a chance to do an optimization pass ahead of release.

Hopefully it runs well on mobile 4000 series chips. I put way too much time into the previous games to not play the shit outta this one.

I still haven't completed Monster Hunter World. :messenger_loudly_crying:
I am way too slow, game is insanely huge and they come up with another one every 2 years and all are amazing. Wow.

Tried it out tonight on a decent rig (4090, 7950x) and was getting around 50-60FPS @ 4K/Max Settings/DLAA and no frame gen. With FG, it was around 110-120FPS. Switched on DLSS Quality and got around 70-90FPS without FG. I then enabled FG and the game crashed, and now every time I try and enable it the game crashes. I imagine that'll be cleaned up on release, along with how the game looks.

Even on max settings, I had to turn the sharpness up to 9 or 10 just to get the image to not look blurry. Hopefully the IQ is addressed closer to release as it doesn't look like a current gen game as is. The texture quality is fine, but the DOF wasn't.

Gameplay wise, I was having a blast. Looking forward to the full release next year.

I can't get into this. Just beat the first boss, went to the open world and got bored. Sucks. I wish Capcom would put this effort into Dogma. I'll try one more time tomorrow. No pause button really sucks.

Looks like another game that pc is going to be the largest platform.

It seems like every big game is leading on PC now and it happened really quickly within the last few years.

At release this one will probably have similar numbers on ps5 but longterm sales its no contest for pc. Xbox is not even relevant for the conversation though.

The growth has been reported for more than a decade but a critical mass was reached sometime in the past few years.

The PS5 console has sold total ~60m while there are ~40m Steam users casually online in the evenings.

Does the PS5 platform even get 5m online users in the evenings? There is simply no comparison to be made anymore, PC gaming has ballooned out of proportion.

How do you know this?

I'm going by Capcoms latest financials. PC is larger than consoles combined and I would put money that ps5s concurrent is not approaching these numbers.

Ita basically helldivers 2 all over again. I'd say ps5 would be lucky to be hitting 250 to 300k concurrent in this game. Running quick math
