More wild west themed games please.

Just finished Red Dead Revolver, awesome game. Great music and art direction and loads of fun.

Got me thinking why such a lack of games set in the wild west? We get something like 20 WW2 based games a year. Surely there is a market for it (esp. in the USA).

A game in the mold of Red Dead based on a movie like The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Magnificent Seven or Tombstone would rock?

Developers make it happen.

PS. Anyone know how many copies Red Dead sold?

This is still the greatest of them all...

I'm actually looking forward to Dark Watch.. Just because I want a good Wild West-style game.

Yeah but... vampires. WTF. They couldn't just make a normal GOOD Wild West FPS? Yeah, Outlaw, I know, I know. It's old.

Dead Man's Hand is a pretty cool little game, though apparently the Xbox version had a lot of problems. I thought the PC version was fun, and it should be pretty cheap by now. It has an interesting "scoring" system that rewards trick shots like make barrels fall on guys or blasting the hats off their head. There's also combo system where you're rewarded for making many shots in a row, within a limited period of time. Each time you hit something the time on the timer increases and the longer you keep the combo going the more points each shot is worth. Since shooting certain environmental objects (laterns and cans and such) also keeps the timer running, you can string together some pretty big combos.

There's plenty of stages, and lots of familiar Western settings.....some areas are on-rails as you ride horseback.

Everyone should play this! Wild West RTS! Play as Settlers, Indians, or Outlaws. The Outlaws "food" is alcohol they brew. Kickass!

I ADORED Red Dead Revolver up until the bar fight stage. Once I got there, I just stopped playing. It's baaaaaaaad. I bet the game's fine after it, too. Wish there were a level skip code.
