OMFG HOLY MOTHER OF MARY IN HEAVEN I CANT BELIEVE IT WTF WHERE ARE MY SEDATIVES AAAAHHH
Does anyone know if there is a dvd box set of the classic Morton Downy Jr show from the late 80s/early 90s? I really want to see one. What's he been up to lately anyway?

:lol Oh I don't know I think he's pretty busy being dead. No there is no box set out, though I would like to see the episode were Niger Eness knocks Al Sharpton out. I had my heart broken watching this show when Ace Freely came on and was making all sorts of racist comment. I was a big time Kiss/Ace fan, wear his costume for Holloween once.

I used to watch this show for the entertainment value alone. "You're just a pablum-puking liberal!"

I saw the episode with the Innis/Sharpton fight when it originally aired--it was part of a week's series that Downey did at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, if I remember correctly.

Yea, his death was all over the news when it happened.

I barely remember his show. I remember the attrocious production values and guests that could barely form sentences. Back in the 80's everything was so bland and dry (think Donahue), Morton Downey Jr's show really stood out in comparison.

After watching for a few weeks, you had enough of it though. It became grating and juvenile. I'm not even sure if it lasted more than 2 or 3 years.
