I gotta tell you, don't even bother asking the 16 year old kids they have working at EB and Gamestop these days about when this thing is coming out.
I went to the EB Games in Perry Hall, MD about an hour ago. I asked the kid behind the counter (I say kid because he looks like he just hit puberty) is the Xbox 360 HD-DVD was in. I'm not kidding about this; the kid looked at me with the blankest stare I've ever seen before and said "HD-DVD drive??". I said "yeah, for the Xbox 360??". He then proceeded to go to the computer to look it up, as if wouldn't have seen it come in today or even knew what the thing was.
After about a minute he actually looked at me and said, I crap you not, "I don't even see that in the computer" and started to look around the store as if he was trying to figure out what this thing was.
At that point I said "You know, nevermind. I'll look elsewhere", and headed out the door.
This is why places like EB Games and Gamestop are going right down the toilet.
