MW2 and MW3 skins won’t carry over to BLOPS6

They have really lost the plot with these skins anyway. Doesn't even feel like CoD anymore when I'm getting shot by Tommy Chong and turning into a giant joint. Hopefully they rein it in a bit.

It wasn't with MW2 to MW3 though because of the switch to the new engine. BLOPS6 is on the same engine.

Yeah sorry i wasnt clear there. I meant it is always the case that skins don't carry forward to the different entries. Cold War to MWII for example.
To be honest im surprised the skins are as popular as they are with them usually only having a 12 month shelf life at best.
MWII carrying forward to 3 was an outlier as we all know 3 was just supposed to be DLC until they changed their minds.

Mw3 was really just an expansion for MW2. They rebranded it as MW3 to charge more and milk the fans. It was literally mw2 remastered with a rushed zombie more treyarc stitched together.
BO6 is a full new entry and Will probably have 2 years before another cod releases.

It's kind of annoying but it's a known quantity. Also if you want to keep playing MW3 it will be online for years and all your skins are still there. Not saying it's right but it's the way it is.
I'm sure Activision must realize that this policy kills their skin sales for the rest of the year.

MW2 skins all carried over into MW3. Doesn't mean same thing wouldn't have happened without purchase. But definitely a change from the last two years.

Again that was an outlier because MW3 was supposed to be DLC for 2, they even made a big deal out of it how everything was "carrying forward." If they didn't do that the outrage would have been even bigger than the DLC stuff.
Skin have never carried from forward from one series/release to the next VANGARD/ BLOPS/ MW.
Like i said this isn't a shocker, not saying it doesn't suck but the only people who will be pissed off in here will be the ones who don't play COD or the ones stupid enough to buy skins for a yearly release. Like someone else pointed out.
I play both warzone and Mainline COD and buy the odd skin . I'm fully aware that this would be the case, like always.
