Watching this I appreciate even more Studio B using mostly frame by frame animation in flash for the show instead of "animating" in flash. Yeah this is a fan project, but im talking more about real tv shows that use flash and look exactly like this fan animation.
The thing i most like was the ending with the sun going up and the epic music.

They use roughly the same amount of frame-by-frame and tween. It's just that the quality isn't as consistent. The show still uses a lot of tweening, but there's more variety in recycled frames.

That fan animation uses less "bounce" than the show. The show does this to make things look more natural, like when they crane their necks or when the head turns.

The mouth animation quality varies a lot. The problem is that most of the time, it's not just the lips that move, but the entire face. Celestia's talking animation in the show involves mostly just the lips which protrude.

Some elements are great though, particularly Celestia's hair and legs at the beginning.
