I think they take short segments of audio (usually voices for melody, and sounds like doors slamming for percussion) and then let them run for the length of the note. They then pitch shift them to match the song. I've seen some people go with a single segment and just stretch it to fit the notes, while others have different samples for each note length.Amibguous Cad said:I just want to know how they're getting their voices to do that stuff. I agree with Owlowiscious that the version by rabiesx86 is better. I'm not sure if it's just me, but most of pkwinner's work is slightly off pitch. I think that's because pkwinner manually changes the pitch in Vegas, while rabiesx86 uses MIDIs to get more precise adjustments.
