Did you know ponies are freaking hard to draw? I've had to throw out all my normal cartooning rules and guidelines, they just don't work on something with an equine head. I still don't have them down pat, but it's good practice and great downtime from wrestling with fuckin' Blackstonian theory of property.

While I don't watch this show, this kind of argument doesn't hold water. The internet is nothing if not an escape for people who feel marginalized (in some respect) in broader society.

The wife's been watching well before I even knew about it. Her co-workers are cool with it. Some of them even watch it with their kids too.
