Mysterious massive drones scattered all over in New Jersey and Pennsylvania over the past week or so. No local officials or FBI knows what's going on.

There's something extremely funny about the idea that these are actual aliens just hovering there for days being super confused why no one tries to make contact or no one cares about this at all.

If they actually are UFO's then I think that the aliens have just been dickheads flying around for a long time so I don't really give a shit about them.

I think a lot of it is mass hysteria, and that the vast majority of sightings are just planes and helicopters, but, I don't think there's nothing going on. Someone floated the idea on another forum that maybe they're one of ours and that there is an imminent threat of some kind, thats my best guess, that would explain why they would use it if they were in such close proximity to the public, or its something else I dunno.

I was basically going to say the same thing. I think they said that there were no drone sightings on Thanksgiving which to me says that this is a domestic drone. Of course the government wouldn't admit they are above the law to our faces, it was funny to see the reporter yesterday basically asking the same question over and over and saying "make it make sense".

A congressman on the news said they were from Iran. None of this makes any sense. Why use a bunch of drones to see what they can see on google earth? Hell, pay some mexican to walk in and take photos!

No one shall be brought before our LORD David Bowie without the true and secret knowledge of the Photoshop. For in that time, so shall He appear.
These drones were in the next town over from me. I haven’t seen them myself, though. Definitely weird.

Kurtzmann? Lindelof? Orci???

This cant be good LOL
Oh, it's wretched! Some fun value of you are drunk and REALLY dig Westerns as there are very few sci-fi ones but the story is trash. A rare Faverau misstep really.

It has a funny origin story though. These guys wrote the comic, then released it and bought up a TON of copies themselves. But this gave the comic a high sales rating for a month and that was used to pitch it as a movie based on a 'popular' comic.

$174 mill global box office on a $163 mill budget. Yeah boys, good work!

Much greater than Aliens. You could link up a bunch and throw a frame over it to make something "car" sized but I doubt there are huge ones out there having seen some of the footage.

Better chance than aliens, lesser chance than military.

Military is the most likely I'd say. To what capacity or the purpose, who knows.

They would be violating remote ID and VLOS rules and lose their pilot certificate. It also looks like they are violating altitude and cloud distance rules. No way this isn't US military.

People break rules and lose licenses all the time, especially people with more sense than money.

The only weird thing about it being US military is... why? They have tons of areas they could test this stuff secretly. Or you know.. run the drones with no lights on... I havn't know the military to be this flashy for no reason.

It's illegal to shoot down a drone, so dont do that :). Comercial and consumer drones are already required to have remote id, which you can download one of the many apps on your smart phone right now to check it out.

When Amazon or UPS are testing delivery drones, you will see the area show up as a drotam on SkyVector, so it's not that. It pretty much has to be US military. A foreign military wouldn't have the beacon lights on.

I did see this in New Jersey, which I haven't personally seen a restricted air space be so narrow. (The purple circle is a drotam, btw)

Found out this narrow strip is Normandy Road and railroad which transports navy ordinance back and forth from Naval Weapons Station Earle to the navy ships in Sandy Hook Bay.

Also, the one video showing it transform, reminds be of this

Which the navy has been testing.

Trolls trolling trolls. They're fucking drones, someone is controlling them remotely. No need to be a monkey looking at the sky and being afraid of the glowing thing. I don't even think it's a military thing. It's just some dude.

Interesting summary and analysis from Richard Dolan

Various highlights

-Could be considered to start a year ago with sightings over Langley AFB

- Major flap; Now all the major networks are talking about it every single day

- New Jersey's has 21 counties and that there have been sightings of these in every single one of New Jersey's counties; it started in northern New Jersey near New York City but it it spread pretty much everywhere into New York stat Island particularly in New York and also parts of Pennsylvania including Philadelphia these things they're being seen everywhere.

- people getting very worked up over it they're large they're not they're not the typical size at least some of them are much larger than what you would expect from any kind of typical hobbyist drone; some of these are described as size of small cars or SUVs wingspans of over 20 ft there are smaller quadcopters that have been described size of a standard 20 pound commercial drone

- their endurance is pretty impressive they can seemingly operate for six seven hours at a time maybe longer

- they seem to arrive about an hour after Sunset they can continue until around midnight some times longer

- pretty significant distances they've got a good range

- they're pretty fast some them have been reported to Crews at around 100 miles per hour

- they're able to evade detection in a very impressive way

-US member of Congress Chris Smith reporting one that on one night law enforcement tracked around 50 of these drones coming to land from the ocean

-all kinds of Mayors police Chiefs openly saying just how frustrated they are about the lack of information lack of transparency they're getting from federal authorities

-group of nearly two dozen Mayors in New Jersey who wrote a letter to the governor of the state just demanding answers demanding action

-a state senator in New Jersey who went so far as to call for a kind of limited state of emergency to be declared over the Drone sightings

-the governor of New New Jersey Phil Murphy apparently had a briefing with a Homeland Security secretary Alejandro Mayorkas about the situation

-FBI involved

He also considers various origins and his perspective on each

the RQ-170 sentinel designed to evade radar and surveillance systems and equipped with hyperspectral sensors able to detect very small amounts of radioactive isotopes that indicate nuclear weapon materials

It seems to me that the US military has legitimate concerns that nuclear material has been smuggled in the country and is now desperately trying to find it

That's what I heard too, that there was some imminent threat, likely nuclear/dirty bomb. Someone identified one of the drones as a general atomics drone of some sort a little over a week ago. The videos that don't make sense to me is the ones where they are seen in groups of 4 or 5's, those are definitely not commercial planes similar to ones being posted over and over, those seems like planes/helicopters, these don't show up on flight radar for example. Either way somethings going on and they aint telling anyone, not even local governments, which doesn't help.`

edit: surprised no one has tried shining a very strong lep flashlight, they go pretty far.
