Man this is so awesome

Here's some great space music that I'm listening to for hype

Awake! All you constellations
To space's serene sonata
Forget the daily tribulations
And join the nebular multicoloured strata

I crown you kings of the hemispheres
Burn wild, like an untamed lion
The stellar eruption throws out like spears
From the offspring carnival within Orion

Space exploration I think might literally be the coolest thing

Yes, but this is the biggest project for NASA since then. What was the biggest one before this, Cassigi-Huygen? I don't even remember if that was NASA or an international coop. You can't deny that NASA's PR f-ing blows. Dubya stated he wanted to put men on Mars by 2020, and people pretty much laughed. It would be easier to justify a bigger budget if people actually gave a damn. PEACE.

How do you get people to give a damn when you don't have the budget to do anything other than send rovers?

God getting so excited.

Congratz to all the people that worked so hard on this project. And I hope it turns out in the best way possible.

See you on the other side with the peanuts.

It's so close. I really hope that it lands safely. For some reason it's crazy to think this thing is actually plummeting toward Mars right now.

We already know why we're going back to mars ffs. Just cutback to control room and update us on why people clapping in the background.

You have shown two pictures now that show that the Mini-Cooper is not an SUV, BAM.

The point is that it's a lot bigger then the Spirit and Pathfinder, around the size of a small car.

For one GAF, please don't turn another thread into a pissing contest.

Let's watch this together in peace and celebrate science.

So if the feed from Mars to Earth is delayed by about 30 minutes because of radio feeds, Curiosity should be going through its 7 minutes of terror now, right?
