Rick Rude and Randy Orton are the ones I always hear about from the few ladies I know who follow/followed wrasslin.

that big ADR investment with that 1%
I've played like 2 hours of Fallout and while it seems fine, I have had zero interest in playing it again.

I lost my video game smile.
that was me with MGS after that came out

That dude is about as Black as my white Hyundai.

what is going on today...

Y'all need Jesus.

Haven't watched a ton of wrasslin lately having finished WWF 1997. Think I'll take the rest of the month off from old stuff and maybe December as well before doing Nitro and NXT.

Holy shit Jazz was doing push ups backstage on top of the women's title when Molly holly comes up and asks if she's crazy for challenging Bubba for the hardcore title. Jazz just gets up and scowls at her and walks away. Molly says maybe she is.

2002 is the year I stopped watching wrestling religiously. Too busy with graduating and starting college. I know from video game rosters and piecing shit back together that it is also the craziest year of NA wrestling.

So almost all of it is on the Network right now, no?

RAW goes up to August and Smackdown is missing some early in the year ones. It's mostly meant as a Brock showcase.

So Hogan has a non title match with Regal. Regal (true story) offers Hogan a spot of tea before the match outside the ring. He has a little table set up and everything. Hogan comes out and drinks tea with Regal, but then spits the tea into his face unprovoked. Dick move.

Their match doesn't last long though, as BikerTaker comes out and beats Hogan with the YAPPAPI STRAP BROTHER

Is that when he dragged him around the ring
With the bike?

I was skimming the past few pages and the issue why Triple H is not tested and if I remember correctly they don't test employee that reside in Connecticut due to some state law.

Elgin vs. Lethal at WK10, if it happens, is definitely nice, but it also eliminates my theory of who would face Ishii for the NEVER championship. Ishii has worked really had to build up the title, and if he were to not get a chance to defend it, it'd be a real shame. I suppose they could always quickly plug in Nagata, Kojima, or Tenzan for a title shot. I assume this was supposed to be where Ibushi would be plugged in if he wasn't injured.

I'm seeing mixed reports on this, Elgin challenged Lethal for a match in Japan but didn't mention the Tokyo Dome or WK10 as some sites claimed - they have the ROH vs NJPW shows in February, so I'd guess Elgin vs Lethal will take place there. I don't think the Tokyo Dome is the place to introduce fans to Lethal or the ROH title, unless NJPW believe #BIGMIKE's popularity from the G1 will carry over to the larger, more casual side of the audience they need to draw for the Dome.

Was any of us in here lucky enough to be at the ICW show last night? How was it?

I don't think we've got any ICW people in WrassleGAF really :/ From what I've heard people were buzzing. It's due to be on demand tonight, so I'll check it out. For how Russo'y they love to get at times, ICW shows are usually fun, and this will be interesting if just for the spectacle/scale.

Someone put this on Reddit a few days back, just remembered to post it:
SHIBATA & INOUE vs EDDIE GUERRERO & BLACK TIGER

I'll definitely be watching the on demand once it's up tonight - ICW isn't entirely my cup of tea, but it's usually enjoyable as you say. I've often got issues with the pacing of their shows (it was a definite problem when I saw them live in London last year), but that isn't usually the case for their bigger events. And yeah, the Russo/Attitude Era worship is a bit much for my liking. Can't wait to watch Drew/Grado, though.

Lucha Underground spoilers are out in the wild. (for the first couple of eps anyway)
I highly suggest stay away from them, it is part of the fun of the whole thing.

The rest of the card doesn't do much for me, but I'm intrigued by Grado vs. Galloway.

Too many guys named "Drew" to just refer to Galloway by his first name! However, the thought of Gulak grapplefucking Grado to death did just make me sensibly chuckle.

Man Specter was such a let down after Skyfall. Love that movie.

Saying that, all the best scenes involve Dave. He was awesome.

Who would have guessed so many of us would get invested in this show enough to avoid spoilers?

Wow, so now Kotaro Suzuki's quitting AJPW. I feel bad for Akiyama, he's trying to rebuild but the ex-NOAH guys are abandoning him. Have to wonder if there's some backstage or financial stuff involved, but however you cut it, losing Shiozaki and losing Suzuki in a few short months isn't good.

Well, that's a dumb spot.

I thought it was a pretty clever counter - he could've just rolled out of the way to the same effect, but it's original nonetheless.

Watched a bit TNA last night on Challenge over here in the UK. When it's shown in America do they also show those horrible green screen segments? It looks worse than a WWF Warzone promo video background.

Yeah, they have those green screen studio bits in the US version as well and, yeah, they're so low-rent and awful looking, it really does TNA's presentation no favours whatsoever.

I mean it's a fine counter so long as the dude doesn't get dumped on his head

It's somehow worse than the WWE's Virtual Studio for Raw pre show they hyped up ridiculously, and I didn't think it was possible to look more amateur than that.

Noah is about to get interesting again.

Kamikaze Kid lol.

It sucks that Superstars isn't on WWE network so I can see the kotr qualifying matches.

When they have the 1-2-3 punch of Raw/Superstars/Mania, they'll be close to the promised land.

If Casino Royale was Batman Begins, and Skyfall was the Dark Night,

and I don't think this was even Dark Knight Rises level.
