yeah my theory has been that nathan's actual experiment is to see how many blatantly fake entries he gets and how many news outlets cover sort-of interesting activities as "radical prank!"
 
Came back to this show when the whole Dumb Starbucks thing broke. Absolutely brilliant. The Gas Station rebate saga is so goddamn absurd, I love it.

the quizno's date almost gave me an ulcer i laughed so hard. i have to watch full episodes
 
So good. When I read the Dumb Starbucks FAQ I thought it might be him. Now that the place is shut down for health code violation I hope the episode follows him to a court battle or something. Goddamn this show is amazing.

EDIT: Also Nathan's narrowed down the S2 premiere a bit on twitter, just to "summer" but at least we know we won't be waiting until late in the year.

Was just coming to post that. Now people have no excuse for not watching the most innovative show on TV right now. It's funnier than any comedy, more creative and exacting than any prank show, and more surprisingly revealing than any reality show.

it's pretty ridiculous that 100% of my favorite shows from the past few years have been from them. bob odenkirk deserves a lot of credit for discovering them, tim and eric have become the titans of comedy (along with nate).
 
Just saw a quick bit on Poo Flavored Froyo on youtube, this is gold. Need to watch all of Season 1 when i get home!

their big break was Tom Goes to the Mayor, right? So Odenkirk was instrumental in getting that on air??

I haven't watched one episode of TGTTM but T&E are my favorite comedians. Really need to fix that.

TGTTM is considered by many to be their best and most focused work, so yeah you need to get on it.

I was seriously going to bump the thread but didn't want to elude anybody with false news and no evidence. LOL the idea of a 'dumb starbucks' totally fits the humor.



And yeah for those who don't know a majority if not all of those businesses Nathan works with on the show are primarily in the LA area. I've actually been to a few of them (The best burger in world, frozen yogurt, and diner with the bathrooms) and talked to the owners of the business about the show. They all just laughed about it.

This one in particular is gold, whether he's being sarcastic or not.

Nothing funny nor cute about somebody making a mockery out if a business that nit only does at least a small amount to help communities in need, but very disturbing to go on the war path to find loop holes in the system and blatantly make a joke out of a system that seems to generally try and have our society's best interests at heart. This your nerd reminds me of someone with antisocial personality disorder and suffers with bipolar disorder. Surely he could use his wicked "smarts" for something good.
