NBA 2k6 (X360) - 1up.com review

LeBron loves his girlfriend. There is no other woman in the world hed rather have. The problem is, Dwyanes not a woman.
The graphics whore in me is calling to Live now 
(As a side note, we should point out that 2K6's graphics benefit greatly from a high-definition television. While both games obviously look better in HD, 2K6 makes a bigger leap than you might expect when moving from a normal to an HD set.)
Since I dont have an hdtv,im not going to get the better upgrade in graphic quality it seems.It would be like turning around and buying a 60$ version of the same xbox game I just traded in that I already spent $40 on earlier this year.
$100 for the same game with maybe a little bit of a difference in graphics for me and despite what everyone says about the ft system in 2k6,I hate it this year,but thats cause I sucked at it so much

And if that's true, I really don't see the incentive for me to get it. I don't doubt it's a solid game, just whether or not it's a next gen game. Personally I only play online, so as long as Live's core gameplay is there, I'd probably get it. The animations just look SO ridiculous at times I find that hard to believe.

Yea,but this time we would have the joy of paying another 60$ for the same game,doesnt that make you all giddy inside like Konex,atleast you have an hdtv to make it look better
If I do get the game,I'll just use my slick older brother skillz and talk my bro into buying it.I only play online too,but EA's track record with bball online is horrible and thats another thing for me to worry about.Best thing for me was getting out of that walmart.com bundle,now I can pick which bball game I want.

Well you guys gave live an 8 and 2k6 a 6.8 on the xbox. Anyone that thinks Live is a better game than 2k6 must not watch or like real basketball that much. This post has nothing to do with your thoughts on the graphic, but I guess you guys gave the game a 7, a whole .2 points better than the xbox 2k6 review because of the graphics. Let me guess, Live will get an 8 or 8.5 even though it has less features than its xbox counter part and plays just as bad.

And one other thing. You guys call that a review, you said absolutely nothing about the actual gameplay. What a joke. You all play game for a living at least write a decent review.

its a prettier version of the game that is already out for $39.99 on the xbox.. The game is old news, despite its graphics as the gameplay isn't any different. If there was only a 360 version, of course it would have gotten a better score. It is essentially a late port with a graphical upgrade that costs $20 more than the original, I think a 7 is justified in this case

NBA 2K6: OMG every feature we expect from a b-ball game is here, and has the best gameplay of any b-ball series... I WON'T STAND FOR THAT! The gameplay and features are already found in this gen's version, so it is just a crap port! The graphics also aren't quite as good. No buy! Waste of $60!
