I don't see this. How would Durant fit into the Warriors playstyle? Would he compete with Curry for the ball?

The numbers would suffer for them the same way Bosh and Wade's numbers suffered in Miami those years. But it wouldn't matter. They would make it work and they would be unstoppable. Lebron would be a better fit than Durant ofc.

i've been begging for over 5 years.
Lebron James got the cavs to fire david blatt, a defensive minded coach with a proven track record of success, and sign Lue to a 5 year contract. He also got them to sign Tristan Thompson to a near max deal.

So who scooped up this awesome defensively minded coach with a proven track record of success after he got fired?

He's the best player the league has seen since Jordan retired and possibly/probably one of the 5 greatest players in NBA history. He might be a terrible GM, but his legacy as a player is pretty secure at this point. Having said that, he isn't really competing with Jordan at this point for GOAT.

I'd take Duncan, Shaq, and Kobe over Lebron right now tbh

LeBron came back from Miami thinking things would be different but basically learned that Cleveland will always be Cleveland

I read your earlier posts. You were right about the matchups. People vastly overrated the OKC series.

Anyone with unbiased basketball knowledge should be able to see that the match ups for Cle v GS are just bad everywhere. People are so stuck up on Kyrie and Love highlights and they're big ticket names and fail to realize that they are huge liabilities on the defensive end.

When you compile that with the fast pace basketball GS plays (more possessions which means more opportunities to abuse them) and just having the shooters they do against that defense, expect to lose. Especially because the Cavs are dumb enough to try and keep up with them.

If they want to win any games in this series, they need to slow the game down considerably and make each opportunity count. Be more efficient on less opportunities. Unfortunately, they can't with those two in the lineups because GS just abuses either one for the quick bucket and then the Cavs just run back on the offensive end and doesn't know what they want to do.

I don't know anything about basketball, but judging by this thread I'm going to have a group of unpleasent coworkers tomorrow aren't I?

He wouldn't have to. 95% of his shots would be open from off ball sets and guys rotating off him because of Klay and Steph's shooting. Durant is at his best when he doesn't have to pound the ball and run all the offense imo. He'd probably average like 23-24 ppg with historic efficiency.

Durant with Klay, Steph and Draymond might go 82-0 tbh. Sadly I don't see it happening. Despite all the rumors, I have yet to see anything substantive in regards to his actual interest in coming to GS.

Durant going to GS after dropping that 3-1 lead to them would be HILARIOUS.

But it probably won't happen.

In the new space jam, the monstars go up double digits in the 3rd and LeBron sits the rest of the game. Really awkward third act, but art imitates reality.
